The room and the overall service we received were a good competitive value in the market that serves the O'Hare airport traveler. The room had all one would expect, and it was comfortable and efficient. The included breakfast was really very good, and the restaurant personnel were quite good. The van driver was excellent, and the woman who was assigned to our room as chambermaid was especially friendly, earnest and efficient. We certainly would recommend this Holiday Inn in Rolling Meadows IL. On the improvement side, the reception desk personnel and the evening supervisor could be better trained to handle the safe deposit, wake-up alarm and assorted practices. They did not know how to access the former. The failure of the wake-up system could have been a problem for making a 5:30 AM shuttle, but luckily one of us woke up in time. While on the subject of improvements; the vans really need new leaf-springs and shock absorbers.

Upon arrival to the hotel, I went to the check-in desk, where a rather rude woman checked me in. She didn't direct me to my room or tell me anything about the hotel. We found our room and the room itself was clean and decent. The paperwork that I had to sign at check in said kids eat free at the restaurant. When I went downstairs to confirm this, I was told that only applies to breakfast, even though there was a dinner menu in the hotel information book. We went into the holidome and looked around and were disappointed to see a fairly small pool and a "whirlpool" which had no bubbling jets and was more like a bathtub. The one working whirlpool was adults only. The worst part of the experience, however, was the room location. We were on the third floor, which is apparently located directly above the banquet room. Starting at about 8pm, we felt like we had a quinceanera going on in our hotel room. There was no soundproofing between the banquet hall where the quinceanera was taking place and our room. We could hear all the music and the various announcements on the microphone. This went on until midnight. I walked the length of the third floor hallway and the entire floor was loud. I have no idea how they can even PUT guests on this floor!

All the white bedspreads in the room and the tablecloths in the meeting room were full of stains.

Hotel seemed dingy and old. Restaurant staff and food was awful...hotel seemed dirty.

The staff was very courteous and personable and that was the best part of the experience. The pool and hot tub appeared dirty and the pool was so cold, my family could not enjoy swimming (which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel). The room was not clean. There were toys left over from, who I assume, was the last occupant. Also, it was odd but the toilet was very low to the ground. Smaller than the child toilet we have in our home. Also, the faucet didn't work correctly. Compared to other hotels I have stayed at, this was one of the worst.

The nightly dinner specials and the service were the best part of the stay

Hotel was pleasant and located in convenient location

The hotel was fine but I had a problem with my swipe key. The receptionist at the desk called maintenance to change the battery in the swipe device. I was thinking give me a different room and should have asked. But more importantly she should have offered. The hotel was fine for the money. .

What a trainwreck. My friend and I went to this holidome in order to swim and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. When we arrived, we rushed to check out the pool and hot tub. Both were closed because they were draining and caulking. We went up to the room to put our stuff away and the there were towels catching the falling plaster. I called the front desk to find out when the pool was going to open since it was getting late and the girl said it wasn't going to open and that there was a lap pool we could use. It wasn't in the holidome so there was no atmosphere and the water was cold.Everytime we stopped at the desk including check in, the girl was on the phone and ignored us for several minutes. What a disappointment!

Perfect room, great facility! Awesome recreation facilities. Front desk is short staffed, multiple calls there have been high wait times or even adandoned. Check in took forever due to calls taking priority over guests checking in.

quick check out

Terrible from the beginning. Sent me to a room with bad lock. Had to make maintenance move me to another room. Went there for the pool - Holidome was freezing. Main pool was poorly maintained and had standing water all around. Pool had lumpy bottom, bad liner. Lap Pool had mold on walls. Room service menu had several items not available. Both pool tables had no balls but werenotmarked out of service. We checked out a day early

Staff was excellent which made up for the deterioration of the room.

medical board preparation workshop

Clean hotel some noise with door banging.

Location was perfect and feature of airport shuttle made this work. When we all arrived and called we were told no shuttle for us! We had to call a cab and wait and pay and were inconvienced.

We had a great time at this hotel. Its location is lot more convenient than most other hotels in Schaumburg Area -- very easy access to highways I-90 and I-290/53. We could reach the Woodfield Mall in couple minutes and getting on I-90 was just a breeze with exits located right in front of Hotel. Hotel itself has one of the most beautiful rooms with amenities like Microwave and Fridge. Additionally they have this beautiful Holidome with Polynesian decor - just mind blowing.

This hotel is an unbelievably comfortable with toms of amenities and above all greatest customer service I have ever seen in any hotel. Just Five Star -nothing less!

The Holiday Inn was a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Accomodations were clean and comfortable as well.
