Travelling on business brought me back to this part of the world. This was my second time staying here. The location is close to my customer and convenient for finding a place to eat. Hotel is what you would expect, its not the Four Seasons but for a family or a business traveler it is perfect. Price was fair and included free Wi-Fi and breakfast that was decent.

The hotel was nice, comfortable and very clean. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Our room was big and had two queen size beds, which were comfortable. A minor inconvenience was the exhaust fan in the bathroom was too small and needed to be upgraded. It did work but did not change the air efficiently. The stay was pleasant and I will probably stay there again. The location and comfort was well worth the cost.

clean, pool and jacuzzi, ample parking, near food places

Two imporatant items in the room didn't work the phone and the internet. The staff did nothing to rectify the situation.

Only stayed for one night, but the room was immaculate, staff was friendly, no issues whatsoever.

Hotel is clean, staff wonderful, breakfast covered everything. Could use a gluten free bread to choose from. Walls are very thin! Get ready to hear everything if you have someone in the next room.

We had a two night stay. We got back late the last day and in the morning I noticed that the champagne glasses, her earrings and my camera was missing. The house keeper cleaned out the room. I talked to the clerk, he said he would talk to house keeping. I did get a call from him and the found the glasses. The following day he call and said the camera was in the box with the champagne glasses. I went back to the hotel and got the box, the glasses and the camera was in there, but there were no earrings, I call again but the manager was not in and they ever called me back. Now I am out of state and the earrings are gone, One would thing the manager would get involved. I am just glad she wasn't wearing her diamond earrings!!!

Would continue to stay here. Some dissatisfiers this stay were: tissue box virturally empty with no replacement available, maid must have accidentally set alarm clock switch to go off in adjacent room early in morning (I know they sometimes listen to music while servicing a room) and there was no one staying in this room so we were woken up early with no way to shut it off, and electronic lock on door sometimes worked and sometimes not. Walls are fairly thin in this hotel so if it is crowded and you have noisy people next door it can be an issue. But usually this inn is not that full. Luck of the draw on room given. Breakfast is good and inn is clean.

This is a nice hotel, no complaints at all, except that it is hidden behind a Sonic Restaurant, and it is not apparent at all from Rand Road, especially at night. Even the access to the hotel is behind the restaurant. If they installed a high, large illuminated sign visible from both directions of Rand Road, and a monument sign next to the street, they would probably triple their business over night.

Second time we have used this hotel. On this trip we noticed how thin the walls are. Could easily hear regular conversation clearly in the next room. Easy to hear door closings, hall noise etc. Did not get a good nights sleep because of it. Will check out Hamptons on our next trip. Hotel was not very full but for some reason the guests were put close together so they could make noise annoy each other.

The staff was excellent, and the hotel was amazing; quiet, clean and great breakfast ! The next day my sister and I headed to downtown Chicago to the museums. Very comfortable, we liked that you had hard and soft pillows to chose from, nice touch. It took awhile to find your hotel, because it is behind several other shops, A clear sign would have helped, up by Hwy 12, sorry if we missed it but with Rand RD heading several ways, north and south, it was confusing.

Great location! Minutes from many restaurants and a nice, upscale shopping plaza. Had all the amenities of a Holiday Inn Express - comfortable bed and room, good internet speed, workout room, nice breakfast. I do business in Lake Zurich and always stay here. Hasn't disappointed me yet!

The room and hotel were very clean and we will certainly stay there every time we are in the area. Only problem was our room was not cleaned for the 2nd day by 4pm. I found the room cleaning lady and asked if she planned on cleaning our room she said no. In pursueing that comment with her I concluded she couldn't converse in english! I contacted the desk who assured me it would be cleaned, and it did get cleaned. Holiday Inn should not hire personnel and have then in jobs where they will come in contact with customers if they can't speak the english language. Very poor customer service and puts a burden on the guest to find the solution to a problem.

The hotel was centrally located with restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. 2 drawbacks: the business center was extremely limited. Although they had 2 computers, the 2 printers available did not work. I had to go to Kinkos to print my boarding pass. And, no room service.

I stayed four nights while on business. The important characteristics for me are a)quiet and clean, b)easy and fast internet access, c)free breakfast, and d)good workout facilities. The Holiday Inn Express hit it on all counts. The workout room could be expanded a little to include some free weights and a couple more cardio machines. But overall, hit what I look for right on.

great hotel lean comfortable rooms, quite new, nice breakfast, friendly staff, Definitely recomend.

Very friendly staff who eagerly accommodated our daughter. Pool was enjoyable for kids. Whole facility was very clean. 24 hour access to business center was great for keeping up on email while out of town. Variety of hot & cold breakfast: different options on consecutive days.
