Room was very nice. Could use better electrical connections for laptops and cell phone charging. Water pressure was low so the shower could not work properly.
This was a delightful option very close to the airport and to nearby highways. Orbitz allowed me to bundle a rental car with my stay. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle (where you will pick up your car as well).
Room decor needs updating. Refrigerator was not cleaned out from prior guest. Coffee was not available until 20-30 minutes after breakfast started...???
I stayed at this hotel for a weekend meeting. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The hotel also provided a good free breakfast. The hotel provided a fair meeting room good for about 50 people. Over all good experience.
Nice hotel and desk staff, but when I wrote to the manager about a personal item I left by the television, I was told that it was never found.
Transit into the city is great! This is a nice solid hotel, not too expensive and good for kids. If your budget does not allow for a downtown stay, this is an excellent alternative with free parking!
Great trip, very comfortable and was close to wher I needed to be for work. Breakfast in the morning was great.
Their computers were down for our very late check-in (2AM) so they took our credit card manually. Front desk called back later 2:30AM to verify the expiration date, given I had a VERY small sleep window calling the room that late seemed a little unnecessary especially to get something they couldn't get because the computers were down in the first place. Other than that it was fine, clean room, comfortable pillows and above average breakfast (although it was pretty slim pickings at the moment we went down).
The air circulation and AC was not as good. The staff did a good job to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
My understanding is this is a hotel for people who's O'Hare flights were cancelled. We stayed here to attend an event at Victoria in the Park down the street. Hotel feels worn down - couches felt old, door to bathroom was bent and wouldn't close all the way. It's good for a quick stay, but nothing more. I will say that the staff was very helpful though in getting us a shuttle to the event, and then ordering a taxi for us on the way back.
It was clean and comfortable but the location was lacking. It was close enough to the airport but out in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was good not great but it's free. For the price, I would probably spend a few more dollars and get something in a better area.
The room furniture and finishes are ready for a makeover but overall it doesn't get in the way of a comfortable stay. The shining highlight is the staff. I have no idea how the hotel can consistently hire that well across the board but they have, and every staff member we met was terrific. From house keeping to front desk - very well done. As a note- ownership should get in alignment with the quality of the staff and support their efforts. Money needs to be spent on the rooms- everything from carpeting to bathrooms, room lights to nightlights need repair/replacement.
The best part of the stay was the staff. Was only there one night. Staff went out of their way to help us with the our needs.
We arrived the night before our flight out of the country. The staff was friendly and very helpful in helping us find a fantastic restaurant to eat dinner after check in. We had great shuttle service to and from the airport. We will be back! Thank you.
The hotel was a great value and provided exactly what we needed a comfy bed for the night, easy on and off the toll road to get downtown and a relatively short ride. The halls were a little loud with what I think was kids until about midnight, but that has more to do with parents letting their kids run up and down and shouldn't reflect on the hotel.
clean, comfortable, helpful staff and i would recommend it any time
A clean hotel and a clean room. Bed was very comfortable and the Flat Screen TV had plenty of channels. Breakfast was OK, but the room was crowded.
Just spent an overnight before moving to a more expensive conference hotel. A good, clean place with a decent breakfast. I was put in an accessible room which was ok, but the sink plumbing was less than desirable: it had one of those "press" levers that turned on for a limited amount of time then turned automatically off. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi worked just fine.
24hr shuttle ended at 10:00pm when my flight came in at 12:00pm. The cab ride cost another $50.00
We used the breakfast room, and had our grandchildren over to swim in the heated pool three times during our stay. Breakfast was great- a lot of variety. The pool was spotlessly clean and a great temperature.
