Comfort Suites Michigan Avenue Loop

The staff were very helpful and courteous, the room was clean but a bit worn. It was right on the loop and close to everything, would definately stay again. Was there on business but the hotel would be good for family too.

A/C on the 1st floor was broken for a few days, so the lobby, breakfast room were steamy hot. Elevator is slow ( most of the time only one small elevator works for the guests, the other bigger one was only for staff). Kitchen appliances do not work. No dish washer detergent was in the room. Even after I notified the staff, the detergent was never brought to our room.

Great experience, good location, close to everything.

Once we found the hotel (it was late at night) it was an amazing experience. Clean, friendly, helpful, and perfectly located. The breakfast was great and the staff was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

i arrive the day of checkin just to be told ""we dont have a reservation for you"" (orbitz mistake)) well the desk clerk was super helpful...luckily he had a room for us and it was actually cheaper than orbitz ...nice room...clean...very close to busses/trains...shope places to eat etc....i do recommend if booking through orbitz call hotel and confirm even if e mail stated you need to do nothing!!

My wife and I were very happy about the overall experience: good location, good staff service, large suite with a full kitchen and an in-room washer/dryer, and nice breakfast. There were two things that could be improved: 1) The room was quite dry due to heating. It made sense in a cold Chicago winter. We asked them if they happened to have a humidifier but they said so. 2) The decaf coffee dispenser was a little hard to use. It took us two whole minutes to fill a cup of coffee.

The staff and location on the Mag Mile are what make this hotel special. We stayed there during the Lights Festival parade and had a bird's eye view of the whole parade. The rooms are a great size, but they are in need of major updates.

Pleasantly surprised at the size of our suite, a bargain! Great room, with tons of windows, full kitchen, cozy and comfortable. Quiet. Within walking of shops, restaurants, museums. Will definitely stay again.

Looks Like A Motel 6 with wrinkled cloth napkins. The windows were filthy, hallways are very narrow you can hear your neighbors and if you both leave out at the same time one would need to step back in their room to accommodate the other to leave. The parking is not good, no valet or nearby street parking.

From the receptionist to the housekeeping staff, they were truly A+..,.and the location to Rush Street was outstanding but.....the couch in my suite was a bit old, tattered, and just not very comfortable, my bed was a bit short, the wifi speed wasn't very adequate, and the showers water pressure was a bit like spring shower. but if that's all I'm complaining about,.... I'll live!! Ron Dixon

Nice place in the heart of downtown. Rooms are super big with floor to ceiling windows, we were on the 20th floor and had a great view. The free breakfast was great. Parking is hard to find any cheaper than the hotel valet parking. I parked on my own one block from hotel and it cost $58 for 24hrs. the hotel had valet for $48 for 24hrs

The hotel was awesome! It's in a great location, very clean, people at the reception were really friendly and helpful. I know where I'm staying on my next trip to Chicago !

Was here for a week on business. Guests seemed to be about 50/50 tourists and business travelers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suites are big and I had a great view overlooking the Chicago River. Very clean room and extremely comfortable bed. A few maintenance issues...burned out lightbulbs knobs missing from the drier and refrigerator temp adjustment...but those were minor. Complimentary breakfast was nice (but avoid the petrified premade heated-from-frozen omelets) as was the free wifi. Can't beat the location, room size and price and will be back

You can't beat the location of this hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Chicago and within walking distance to everything! The staff is excellent! Diane Ortiz was very helpful in quickly working out a small glitch we had in our paperwork! When I return to Chicago in a few months, I plan to stay here again!

The staff were very welcoming, very helpful. The rooms were clean & even the beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

Surprised at how quiet this hotel was being right on Michigan Ave. Hard to find as it only has a small awning. You have to park with the Hard Rock Hotel valet which was confusing but worked out well. We had to call to find the entrance!

The hotel staff are top of the line staff. Our hotel suite consisted of a full kitchen which included a stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and lunch island. We also had a walk in closet, washer and dryer and 2 other closets. Free Breakfast was provided. The bed sitting room had 2 double beds and large sitting area. The location could not be beat if you wanted to be in the Chicago Loop area. This location met our every need. Thanks Comfort suites.

Great location. Staff was very helpful. Received an upgrade when we arrived. It worked out perfectly with two teenagers in tow. Breakfast was fair but suited our needs well. Enjoyed the infused water in the lobby. Definitely would stay again

Hotel staff was pleasant and allowed me to check in early, an even upgraded me to a nicer room! I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and breakfast area. The staff called me to tell me my pizza delivery guy was on his way up. I was very happy with my experience at this place!

Dont expect a five stars hotel, but its great. Clean, well located and the staff its very helpful.
