Great location. Bardot bed needs new mattress. Fully stocked fridge is a shared fridge in a common area along with stove/oven. Only microwave and coffee maker inside the respective rooms.

This was the perfect place to stay for a visit to Chicago. The old house is in the Gold Coast is in wonderful condition. Each room is decorated in the style of a famous person. . . Elvis Presley, Audrey Hepburn, Al Capone, etc. Our room was beautifully decorated with photos of Audrey Hepburn, accessories from Breakfast at Tiffany's, and framed quotes from the movie star. The spacious room included a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, coffee service, etc. There was a common area which included a living room, kitchen, and patio with a fireplace. The location was in walking distance to shopping, bars, and restaurants.

Accomodations were fantastic, once we figured out how to get in, and where to park. Had some issues initially with figuring out access. Also, the place we were told to park did not accept my credit card, so I had to drive around about half an hour to find a place to park. Aside from that glitch, my wife loved the property and wouldn't hesitate to return.

A suite to impress. Upon arriving we were happy to see that the unit was in a great location close to Michigan Ave. The whole building is just beautiful inside and out. It is worth the money. We fell in love with the design. After an hour of arriving we had continuous knocks on our door. Another renter seemed to have rented the suite and was on the phone with the manager. Shortly after booking our chosen room we had received an email stating there was a scheduling issue and they upgraded us to this suite. Day prior to arrival we got a email from the manager confirming the suite we were in. Upon talking to her on the phone she says we were in the wrong room we should pack out bags and empty the suite for the other renters to come in. Finally after much back and forth they ended up giving the other couple another room and letting us keep this sweet. However even though they were accommodating you would think they would not double book and make sure everyone is in the proper bookings before their arrivals. Otherwise our experience was great.

This may look like a pretty place to stay, but beware! When we arrived there was no staff to greet us, I called the manager and received a lame excuse from her. The whole time we were there, we saw no one. There was no daily housekeeping, actually the room was dirty, even though their website says differently. The inside of the toilet was dirty and the same thing that was in the toilet was on the toilet paper, you can take a guess on what it was. I had to purchase some toilet paper for myself because the person who runs this establishment does not get back to you right away when you call, and they will not answer the phone. Also, we received used shampoo, body wash, and soap. When my daughter called to ask were the laundry was, she was told she could use it, but she would have to finish their laundry that was in the machines. We did't. Breakfast was bread and bagels that sat on the the counter the whole time we were there. When we called to say we were leaving, because we just could not stand the place anymore, we waited over an hour and a half for her to return the call. She was rude, and her excuse for the lack of staff was they have three properties and they can't be at all of them. She also said,"this is not a hotel". She told me that the owner would call, needless to say, she never did. My husband called Orbitz when I made it home, they called the owner, she lied and said we stayed to whole time. She wouldn't know she wasn't there. This is an overpriced air b-n-b.
