Check in went well. We opted for a non smoking room, it was obvious that the room we stayed in was not. They did offer to move us to another room. Noise, put in a room next to one being remodeled. Did offer cont. breakfast. Was lacking from other Baymont Inns I have used.

older hotel. not updated. lumpy bed. No fitness center. Breakfast featured cold gravy. Would not stay here again.

The hot tub wasn't working right and had to change rooms three times due to the air not working

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. For what you pay, its not bad at all Continental breakfast included biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles (you make), bagels, toast, muffins, boiled eggs, cereal; coffe and juice.

The hotel was nice enough for the cost! It was perfect location for the weekend. When we checked in, the staff was very nice and even let us check in an hour early. When I opened the door, I was immediately overcome by marijuana smoke and odor. I could tell that someone w/in the last hour had smoked that in there. I opened the window and aired it out and it was fine for the two day stay. At the time I didnt want to make a big deal out of it, because I didnt want to seem like a mean person. I am not impressed that this would happen. Why dont they just do it outside if they are going to do that stuff!

I was disappointed when the hotel clerk told me that they didnt honor what was booked online in terms of room choice...I booked 2 rooms one with double beds but was given to king beds. I also requested a cot for one of the rooms but the clerk never called us back to inform us.

First 2 day ok. Last day so loud we left. Told the clerk then returned only to find the halls had kids playing until midnight. Overall ok. Will not stay there again.

It was a simple hotel for a good price. It had a small refrigerator and microwave. The rooms weren't very big but the beds were adequate. The pool area was clean and it was indoors. The staff was very accomodating. We had several children with us in 4 rooms and they moved us to the 1st floor so people wouldn't complain about the noise. The location didn't seem too good because it was across from some apartments but it turned out to be very quiet and there are a lot of businesses on the same strip that came in handy i.e. fast food restaurants, dollars stores, grocery stores and even some dept. stores.

This hotel was conveniently located between the two cities I was visiting. There was a very clean and inviting atmospere. I felt the bed was quite comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and glad to help. The only negative is there was a bit of a fight/argument upstairs from mine but the staff took care of it by removing those individuals involved off the premises. Overall I had a really great time and the next time I am in the area would most definitely consider this hotel again.

When i first got to the hotel, the hot tub was out of order. Then the next day when we wanted to go swimming the whole pool had a sign on the door saying out of order. I picked this hotel because i specifically wanted to go swimming with my friends during my trip. We didn't get to do that. Also the first night there at about 3am, someone was knocking on our door. They were drunk yelling, "let me in the room," while swearing and yelling. I did not open the door, but i could see him through the door whole knocking on door across the hall as well. I did not get good sleep because of this. In the morning we had the continental breakfast and it was not very good at all. They ran out of everything and it took them about a half an hour to fill it back up. It in all was not a very good stay. I dont recommend it. The staff was rude also. It was not at all what i exspected from a hotel stay.

booked reservation with pool and hot tub hoping to use both, when we got there we found out both were not able to be used and had been unable to be used for some time. This should have been noted in description of hotel somewhere. When we left they had put a sign up at front desk. Looking back through reviews looks like this has been ongoing problem with this hotel, too bad looks like new place and very clean.

The room were a bit on the small side, yet very comfortable and clean. I rested very well. [...]

I thought the quality for the price was lacking.

The Baymont Inn and Suites in Calumet City, Illinois was very clean. The rooms were good-sized and comfortable. However, the remote for the television did nothing except channel up--no matter which buttom was pushed. The television had Direct TV instead of cable. Therefore, we could see no major networks and could not see many cable channels. The pool was always locked and did not look very inviting. The fitness center was also locked. The water took forever to get hot and the hair dryer didn't work.

The hotel ran out of hot water at 11:00 p.m. The bed was not the most comfortable in the world. The pool was closed.
