Perfect location for Chicago! It was close to many great restaurants and walking distance from the river walk as well as museums and other attractions. Every interaction with the staff members was very pleasant and friendly. I received a complimentary room upgrade upon my arrival. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return

Overall, I thought my stay and experience at the Royal Sonesta met my expectations. It was convenient and within walking distance to many dining, shopping and touring options. The staff were polite and helpful. My only minor issue was that the on-site restaurant menu limited and the bar didn't open until late afternoon.
Be aware that overnight parking is $75 and city view room is a room overlooking the back of the property! No Pool! Its a great hotel for bossiness meetings and location.
Our first time in Chicago and we loved it. Our hotel stay and hotel staff were awesome and so friendly . The hotel was in a great location and in walking distance to pretty much of everything. We are definitely staying at the hotel wherever we come back to Chicago .
Staff was wonderful and most willing to help with room accommodation, transportation and area logistics. View of downtown and river from room was fantastic. Would highly recommend this property.

Great stay for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children)! Outstanding location close to Michigan Avenue. Upgraded to a family suite with a king bed and bunk beds (with double sized mattresses) for a small fee that was very spacious (700 sf). Room was clean. Courteous staff. Very walkable location close to lots of great dining and shopping. Need to schedule housekeeping ahead of time if you desire, but was not important to us. We just asked the front desk for amenities (ie bottled water, towels) when needed. Would definitely stay here again!
