Is an old hotel that is very bare-bone, with limited staff, and has never been renovate. It mainly cater to large transit tour group. Is isolated from the city, sitting next to a river that is actually a large pond.

I had a specific use case for picking the Holiday Inn in that I required a stable internet connection. The Inn advertised wired internet, 24-hour fitness, and 24-hour room service, all of which they did not have. I canceled my reservation and left per-maturely. Even in the executive suite, the WIFI would cut out repeatedly. If my use case was different and they honored their word, I would re-consider. The bed was one of the best I slept in, the view was nice, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately for me, a stable wired internet had a higher priority than anything else.
I enjoyed staying at holiday inn Chiangmai. Hopefully come back.
The property is closed by many street food and 7 Elevan store so it's convenience. They also have a shuttle drop-off & pickup from night market which is very convenience so you don't have to spend extra money taking taxi.
greeting friendly and very helpful. The Front desk is very professional and friendly. they make me feel very important when arrived and stayed.
All staff is very pleasant from concierge and bellmen to reception, housekeeping, and the pool bar staff.
The hotel was great for the price but being a very old building it has some upgrades it can use. Service was great and breakfast was great.
Overall experience was good. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well kept clean and fast services. Food was excellent. Since it was hard to schedule tours, my recommendation is that the hotel should have their own tours company and shuttle busses from airport to hotel and the other way around.
You will enjoy your stay at this Holiday inn. Breakfast Buffet was great. They did a great job to cater all nationalities. My hat is off to all in this hotel. Well run. great team.For sure , I will be back again.
Was less than regular. Not pleased with my exoectations,next time i will choose different Hotel...................... I was not really impressed the Hotel did not stock with simple hygiene kit
We stayed for three nights. Everything met our expectation. I wish the holiday inn's in us could be as nice as the one we stayed in Chaing Mai. From staff to food at the buffet, room space and cleanness was overall great. Everything was in walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The night market was very close to the hotel location. I would stay here again in the future.
Very goo to great experience. I did not expect that with this popular hotel chain, I can get a very good price. Room is big and very comfortable. The surrounding is quite convenient if you like local food and delicacies. Really worth it.

I suggest you book a room with a river view. Staff are friendly and helpful; most have a good command of English. If you need to extend your stay, you will usually get a better price on-line than at the front desk.
