La Quinta Inn Cheyenne

Overall great experience, no issues at all :-) great staff and rooms are in great shape and the fact that all La Quintas are pet friendly is something that means allot to me and I always stay at a Later Quinta when available just bevas of that reason. Even if I'm not with my pet I do to support them :-).

Business trip. Accomodations were acceptable What happened to Village Inn?

The room was very dirty and had an odd smell. The front desk staff at check in was inexperienced and had problems checking us in and ended up charging us twice for the room. The front desk staff at check out was very helpful and courteous and fixed this mistake. The breakfast provided was very simple but was good.

Stayed here once before and found it comfortable. Upon check in this time, we found Housekeeping and service to be lacking. There was a dirty towel left by the prior occupant, a lamp missing a lightbulb. I brought the towel to the front desk and asked for a light bulb - no apology or any sort of empathy was offered by the desk agent. Later, we found there wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign (hence a Housekeeping knocked on our door early in the morning) and a radio alarm clock on the nightstand that wasn't working (housekeeping didn't plug it in). Housekeeping didn't notice any of these items wrong the next day either as no replacement DND was placed in the room and the clock was still left unplugged. Of the two beds in the room, one mattress was semi-firm, and the other was a complete disaster (soft due to overuse).

Staff were great, and I liked that they are pet friendly, but the walls and doors were thin and I could hear people a few doors down making butter, cheering on their favorite football team, or some related activity.

From the lobby, to the halls and thr room. The entire hotel was dirty. Was hair and grime built up in the corners of the bath room. Something slimy running down the back of the door, dust 1/2 inch thick on the pictures, bed frame and base boards. Could go on and on. Front desk didn't seem to care when I said something. Will never be back.

The hotel staff were very nice individuals. We did have a problem regarding our room not being clean for the first two days of our trip. I elevated the situation to the management after the first day, and the room maid still forgot to clean it the next day. I then elevated the situation again, and from that time on it was taken care of each day after that. Not sure what was going on there. We brought our dog, and they welcomed him just as much as they did us, that was nice. All in all, it was a good week, except for the first two days.

If I'd realized this was the same hotel I'd stayed in two years ago I wouldn't have returned, and with reason: nothing's improved. This place is old, and not in a charmng way. It smells alternatively of Lysol and mildew. Hair in bed, bathroom and shower, grounds around hotel are like dumping grounds.

The hotel staff is very accommodating. I was in town right before frontier days and they were packed(as well as all other hotels in the are). Despite being quite busy they were very attentive and friendly even as some not so friendly guests were coming and going. The rooms are average to decent. Nothing spectacular or special. Exempt the bathrooms were quite large. I would come back to this hotel if it had an indoor pool. When I am visiting town it the kids want to swim and weather can't be trusted to an outdoor pool

Our room and the overall hotel was dirty. There was mold in the bathroom. There was nail polish all over the rug. The tub was dirty. There was stuff on the shower curtain. The toilet ran for a long time after it was flushed. We stayed here because they allowed pets, which was very nice. However, I'm convinced that a clean room and a hotel that allows pets can be found.

Hotel right by train tracks & highway. Awakened by train horns and semi trucks all night. The room smelled like animal urine. Tried calling the front desk shortly after check-in to ask a question, but there was no answer. Outdoor pool, which makes no sense in a state where there are only 3 months a year which accommodate swimming outdoors. Saving grace was breakfast; traveling with 6 kids, so it was nice that it was free & tasty with a wide variety.

Too many dogs in the hotel. Some barking. Did not realize this was a dog friendly hotel or I would not have stayed there.Overpriced for a dog pound hotel!! Checked in and the wrong address on my reservation as well as the wrong credit card. The clerk said she had to swipe my card again for incidentals. When I went to check out the manager said there was no reason that my card had to be swiped since I booked through you. Now I have to wait for a credit on my statement. Manager said my room was originally charged to you since you in turn billed me. Confusing.

We were there only one night and the hotel was fine except that we were apparently put on the smoking floor when we had asked for nonsmoking. Fortunately, our room was not too bad, but the halls were very smoky

Nice hotel. The room was very clean and tidy. The towels were a bit small; nothing I would want to wrap around myself and then walk around the room in while getting ready. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh fruit and waffles. Overall, a nice place to stay and I would stay there again.

Arrived at 1am to our room. After the first couple of train passes I was able to get to sleep. I'm a heavy sleeper, if I was a light sleeper it would have been difficult to get to sleep with the truck and train traffic!.

I like staying here, I slept well and got a great start for a long journey the next day

check in was easy and quick, staff was very nice and liked the noon check out even though we checked out before church started. Will stay at this hotel again. Like to try different hotels though so we will see.

I travel to Wyoming on business several times a year and always feel comfortable and have what I need to get work done. It feels like I'm on vacation even though its for business. The breakfast is convenient so don't have to leave and interrupt work. All associates who have checked me in have been knowledgeable, personable and professional.

Very nice, clean hotel! Would recommend to anyone passing through!

My only complant is the breakfast. Espcially in the winter months, something hot would be nice!
