After a long journey, we really enjoyed stretching out in the big, warm pool and then the jaccuzzi. The staff at reception, leisure club and the restaurant were incredibly welcoming and helpful. This hotel is much better than it looks from the outside (a bit motel-like), great facilities, decent food and refurbished comfy rooms with very smart showers.

Everything about this place delivers. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. We upgraded on arrival to the executive room, not sure it was worth the extra but being right at the end of the corridor it was quiet and overlooked lawns. Room was spotlessly clean bed comfortable and it was nice to be able to control the heating. Only downside was no draws for those things that should be in draws only hanging room and a couple of shelves under the TV in the unit. Super base for Chester, we used the park and ride just round the corner £2 pp return. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Spent one night because we wanted to attend a music gig in Chester. Had a lovely welcome and staff were onhand to answer questions. Stevie was really helpful and made sure we had a quiet room away from doors and lifts. Thanks Stevie!!

Perfect venue for a our plans (easy reach for both Chester and Wrexham); friendly helpful staff, spotless, cosy room; one of the best buffet breakfasts ever; and excellent evening menu choice in the restaurant. Couldn't have asked for better!

We were visiting from ireland for business and house hunting. We had already checked out of a hotel that did not live up to expectation so booked with you at short notice. The staff were friendly and warm and very welcoming, the room was comfortable and the food nice. We will be coming to that area quite frequently and to shortly move there so would recommend friends and family to stay there when they visit.

Excellent base for a weekend in Chester, friendly staff, great buffet for breakfast, and nothing was to much trouble for the staff Caroline and Gaynor, made our stay worthwhile. If you want to explore Chester and surrounding area this is an ideal location right on the by pass.

This is one of those hotels where the negatives are more than outweighed by the positives, the biggest of which is the attentive and helpful staff. On the negative side of the balance sheet: - Although the rooms have been refurbished, bits of the original décor remain eg cupboard - The door locks are quirky. I had to try several times whenever I wanted to get in the room - As the corridors are long and there are a number of fire doors, it can get noisy On the plus side: - Great location close to the business part, major roads and park and ride into town - Reasonable gym and a decent sized pool for a hotel - Good breakfast - Welcoming staff - Fair pricing / value I would happily stay here again unless I absolutely had to be in the centre of town.

Was on a one night trip with a coach party. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bonus was that the ‘single’ beds were bigger than an average single. Both the evening meal and breakfast the following morning were excellent with plenty of choice. Didn’t use the pool or gym but had a peep and they looked great. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with my daughter at Christmas for shopping and a visit to friends. When we arrived I wondered from the outside if we had made a good choice. But once through the doors it was a really nice hotel. Good value for money with a pool. The rooms were a good size, nice and clean , warm and had a good nights sleep. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. Really well trained and had a smile on there face at all times. I would stay again even just for the breakfast . Its what I would expect for what I paid .

Staff great, service fast but room looked grubby and needs refresh. One of those that you don't look too closely at the carpet and wipe your feet before putting your socks on. An average stay but have been in better Holiday Inns
