It was okay but they really have to fix the bathroom for disabled no space for clothing and bars in the shower. One of our room smells stink, need to change the carpet.

Went with my wife for a night for her birthday, there was trash still in the trash can, no soap, and there was some trash under the bed, room was fairly clean. The staff is professional is about the only good thing I can say but for what I paid I expected more.

I booked this hotel based on my experience at other Double Tree hotels. This one looked like a best western that had been painted and a few upgrades. This was definitely a 2 Star hotel and not what you would expect. I booked a room with two queen beds to comfortable accommodate 4 people and my room as two full (double) size beds. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable.

I got locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door. Maintenance had to come and kick in the door. There was no apology offered to me or offer to get a discount or anything along those lines. Extremely poor service.

Double Tree, to my experience, has the hotel experience down to an art. Having stayed at several, I know I am going to meet pleasant, helpful staff, get a clean, comfortable and safe room for a relaxing stay. Williamsburg has all the added amenities of a fabulous historical perspective, a good restaurant and meeting facilities to add to the mixture.

Room never vacuumed the whole week we were there. We even changed rooms in an attempt to find a room in better repair.

We stayed at the Double Tree for the weekend to go to Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion. The staff was extremely friendly! However, I just thought the place would be been nicer for $100+ per night. The pictures online are well taken, and looking back, they are accurate but they appear more modern and clean then what the room actually was. Refrigerator only worked half of the time, 2 cup coffee cup brewed on one side better then the other, shower changed temperature in the morning really bad (I think it had something to do w/ other people getting in and out)!

The hotel staff and cleanliness of sheets, towels, etc. were great. I just happened to be in a room facing the pool -- and the noise from parties the first night (Saturday) even from the 4th floor, kept us from getting our much needed rest. Recommend the hotel CLOSE the pool at 10 pm. Also, the air conditioner was loud whenever it turned on, I woke up from the loud noise. Breakfast should be included at the price they gave $177 + taxes was over $200/night-- Since its an old hotel w/old appliances, they should have free breakfast. THX

After a long hot day at the park we just wanted some food and a shower before bed. The staff at the sports bar were very accommodating. The food was much better than expected and reasonably priced for the convenience.

My husband and I were in town for a Law School reunion and found this hotel to be a very nice choice. It is a big conference hotel, so I can't comment on those amenities, but on a quiet night, we enjoyed pleasant staff interactions and easy parking. The rooms are spacious and the pillows were great. That's what matters the most to me!

We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our breakfast buffet before heading to Busch gardens. The bonus was the warm delicious chocolate chip/walnut cookie. We would definitely come back the next time we visit Williamsburg, VA.

Convenient to Busch Gardens and good enough to stay the night to be there for a race the following day.

The stay was nice except for the lack of towels in the pool area. I had to ask the front desk three times when that would have towels at the pool. I was told that they were on the way. 45 minutes they arrived after my third trip to the front desk. I gave them 3 stars because if it were't for the lack of pool towels they would have got 4 stars.

Great service from the time you walk in to check in to when you check out. Closest hotel to Busch Gardens.

Staff were very nice. Quite outdated, rooms were just ok. For this price there are many other better hotels in Williamsburg that are newer/nicer. Kudos for the cookies, very unique, but still overpriced.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Huge room! We arrived early in the morning, and they were able to get us into the room. The front desk was great. The room is very nice, super clean, very, very spacious and the small fridge and kitchenette sink was convenient. Just down the road from Busch Gardens and tons of restaurants and some shopping. However, far from the outlet mall. Would be nice is Wi-Fi were cheaper than $10/day. We booked very last minute and still got a great rate.

busch gardens trip

After a long hot day at the park we just wanted some food and a shower before bed. The staff at the sports bar were very accommodating. The food was much better than expected and reasonably priced for the convenience.

nice, clean, convenient hotel close to law school

My husband and I were in town for a Law School reunion and found this hotel to be a very nice choice. It is a big conference hotel, so I can't comment on those amenities, but on a quiet night, we enjoyed pleasant staff interactions and easy parking. The rooms are spacious and the pillows were great. That's what matters the most to me!
