The room had brunt marks all over the rugs. People were fighting outside our room at 10 pm, and loud people came in all hours of the night. Too many homerless people hanging outside the hotel.
The room next to mine had the television on at maximum volume all night and day. I had trouble sleeping.
This property was in a perfect location to attend a conference at the PCC. It was also convenient to public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I liked the fact that the property was conveniently located, and closer to the convention center. The property also had parking nearby. I did not like that there were no microwaves in rooms. If the property can provide mini fridges it does make sense not to provide microwaves. It was very inconvenient to go downstairs to warm a quick bit in the middle of the night. The place was clean and staff friendly.
Location was perfect. Everything else was subpar. Front desk was disorderly and confused. Breakfast area was in the basement down a flight of filthy carpeted steps. Dining area was cramped, messy and provided very little options. Food was left unattended and unreplenished. The door to the laundry was opened up to the dining area. No assistance from the front desk regarding parking. Hotel stands next to a seedy minimart with unseemly characters milling about. Rooms were too small to accommodate two beds. There were no windows to the outside, only windows to the hallway.
Nice staff, perfect service. Very clean. Nice location. It is located behind the convention center; thus, you need to be a little careful at night. But during daylight the location is perfect.
We stayed for five days. Didn’t know hotel is next to a homeless shelter with lots of homeless people around but they didn’t bother us. Also parking is $20 per day located on right side(not left side) two blocks away in Chinatown. Front desk ok. House keeping nice. Comfortable clean beds. Hotel inside looked nice. Hot breakfast was good and had something different everyday.
The hotel certainly needs some majors updates. The room was not worth $300+ per night for the stay. I felt like I was in a shoebox that’s how small and In closed the room was.
Location is not great, not a safe place to stay ; i would not recommend unless you dont find any thing else
The staff is terrible. The hotel is a mess and we had to find another place in late night. It is a total nightmare with a booking for this property.
Do not use the suggested property parking. They charge $30 for overnight and it takes them at least a half hour to get your car. For the same price you can park a block away at the self park. To save water they don’t change the sheets often.
Did not receive my 50 dollar deposit back and it’s been over 2 weeks

Everything was OK with the hotel. Not great, not bad. The room was smaller then expected and quite confined with no windows which was surprising.

Thank you for providing your feedback, from what you've written, it would appear most of your concerns were about other guests and people outside of the hotel, and not the hotel itself, however we'd still like to extend our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. It is our belief that everyone would prefer (including those less fortunate) that there be no homelessness in the city, and though the city is working to rectify the very serious issue of homelessness, we at the hotel have limited to no ability to do anything other than to ask that our less fortunate neighbors allow our guests space and do not bombard them. It is our hope that you'll consider staying with us again to allow us the opportunity to improve upon the experience you've had with the Days Inn Philadelphia Convention Center. Good Day Anonymous visitor. After reviewing your comments, I had to look at how you booked your room. On Orbitz.Com website, the photos provided were very accurate. I apologize if you feel the front desk had challenges with your arrival. I hope you were able to speak with the manager on duty regarding any concern while you were in the hotel. Parking for the hotel that is listed on Orbitz.Com states self parking is available. I apologize about our front desk clerks being unable to assist you with parking.
