Our family came for a 2 day stay we had two rooms. In one room came in room to find roach going across top of counter. Found a shirt laying beside bed and black hair in bed which leads me to believe the bed linens were never changed. The bathroom is so small you can't hardly move in it. Talked to management and they offered 20% off next visit. HA HA there will never be another visit.

The elevator was broken the 4 days that I was there the AC heat in the room would only work in the on or off position and there was a dead cockroach in the refrigerator. Would not recommend this to anyone there are other hotels in the area that seem much nicer and more convenient to restaurants shops and the casino.

The location was great. Just a few miles from Bryson City. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Mostly fast food in Cherokee unless you want to go to the Casino which is ridiculously expensive. The clerks at check in got us checked in and then dismissed us. We asked for more kleenex since there was only one in the box. They couldn't find any. Even the next day the Kleenex had not been replaced. The bottom of the shower curtain was moldy. The breakfast was a joke.

The hotel is in good location close to casino, gas station and few fast food restaurant. The room is in the small side with 2 kids make it qay too small. No bathtub, just shower in our room and toilet is small. Heated pool and hot tub was a bonus,it is located outside the hotel,it is an addition. When we stayed it was raining and going to the pool with no walk way with a roof. No towels in pool area we have to bring the towels from the room. No microwave in room but you can use the mass microwave downtairs at the breakfast area. My family travel a lot so i always book a hotel with a free breakfast so we do not have to go out to find food. We always go down to eat breakfast 30 mins before its over so we dont have to fight for the crowd. Breakfast served was alright not so much of a choice either. They were out of sausage, few eggs left, coffee was out, no fresh fruit serve(what they have is a syrupy mixed fruits fresh from the cans). Was not impressed with the breakfast. Coffee cup is so tiny(never seen hotel serve tiny styrofoam cup). Overall stay was alright.

Comfortable, old style rooms. Rooms need upgrading. Friendly, informative staff. No breakfast was a real let down, they used to have an adjacent restaurant but it has been closed. Not many restaurants open for breakfast in Cherokee except fast food. Close to GSMNP entrance.

Not sure where to start, front desk people have no personality except for the one older lady. Mediocre double queen room, small frig and small TV. Bathroom very small and door wouldn't shut properly nor lock. Outdoor pool needs to be cleaned as well as the hot tub. WiFi would never connect any of the 4 days, when I questioned the front desk the very rude younger woman stated that it was cold outside and what did I expect for free WiFi... Very rude. We cut our trip short by a day and have had problems receiving a refund for that one day. We stayed 3 nights and for the price, I expected a whole lot better. Location is great, that's about all I can say for the place.

The hotel was full and wifi was not properly working. The room strongly smelt of air freshener...probably to mask other odours. Room was spacious but bed mattress was very soft. Overall a cheap feel at quite an expensive rate. High season i guess but we stayed in much nicer places at similar rates doing our road trip

Was not able to get into the room until 3:30. Front desk doing the best they could. One family that travel with kids got upset. Did like the breakfast and quiet room. Being short staffed was no ones fault, I'm sure. I would stay there again.

If you want to be away from all the activity of Cherokee then this is a good place to stay. It's about 1 mile away from downtown Cherokee so it's very close. It's within driving distance but not walking distance away. All the staff was very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. The ONLY negative thing I can say about it is that the beds are too hard. I guess if you are used to a hard bed then this is the place for you. I like the enclosed pool. The breakfast area was small but there is also another seating area on the 2nd floor directly above the one on the 1st floor. I would definitely stay here again...just not sure what I would do about the hard beds.

Room was average for price. Two nights for $270. It's just a cut above a motel or lodge if you ask me. But it is summer and the town was busy. Got a room with two beds. It was small in many ways. Bathroom was inside a sliding closet. Sink area was outside of it and small. TV was even small. There was a mini fridge in the room, but a small coffee pot and no microwave. We went to use the pool and hot tub the Friday evening we arrived and found it closed. Management said the pool needed some maintenance and they weren't sure when it would be back operational. It was still closed Saturday. No compensation for it being closed and it was one of the reasons I picked this hotel over others in area. The desk chair was broken and my grandson nearly fell right out of it. I told the front desk and they said they would come get it. I slid it outside our room & it stayed there until I ended up pushing to front desk the next day. Breakfast is okay. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurts, and cereals. But the breakfast area needs to be a bit bigger. It was really congested in there and made us feel claustrophobic. On a positive note, it is located close to Harrah's Casino and downtown Cherokee. I just expected the rooms and amenities to be a little nicer for the price. Book early if you come during summer months. There's always a lot going on here and we booked our room online over a month ago. We saw people turned away because it was full, who didn't make a reservation and tried to just walk in.
