The airport is served by a number of international airlines and offers direct services to the US, Canada, the UK and other destinations in the Caribbean throughout the year. Many of the hotels on Grenada offer shuttle services to the airport. Private shuttles and taxis are also available if you’re staying somewhere that doesn’t offer transport.

If you’re staying in St George’s, you’ll find most of the town is within walking distance. However, as many streets are on steep hills, you might find it easier to catch a taxi to your destination. If you want to explore further afield, you can catch minibuses to most other parts of the island. Fares are cheap and bus drivers are friendly, so it’s easy to get out and explore.
If you want to get off the beaten track and see Grenada under your own steam, you can hire a car for your stay on the island. The most famous spot on Grenada is Grand Anse Beach. Stretching for two miles and boasting golden sand, turquoise waters and its very own spice market, the beach is a big draw for visitors traveling to the island.
If Grand Anse is too busy for your tastes, head a couple of kilometers south to Morne Rouge Bay. The jade green waters at this beach are clean and clear and you’ll find a great choice of restaurants lining its shores.
To get a feel for daily life in Grenada, take a trip to St George’s. The town’s horseshoe-shaped harbor is framed by rugged volcanic hills and is one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean. The most popular site in the town is Fort George. Built by the French in the early 18th century, it offers beautiful views over St George’s and the surrounding area.
