Desk Staff was friendly and helpful. And my room (#421) in the back on the 4th (ie top) floor was super quiet and comfortable. A calm and happy stay!

The property was an older facility in need of upgrading in the main lobby and hallways. Elevator was old and had been vandalized, with missing floor indicators and trash stuffed into the emergency panel. Complimentary popcorn machine was full of flies. Outdoor pool area looked neglected. Parking was tight and front desk clerk explained overflow parking was available in fast food lot after hours. Rooms were remodeled and comfortable enough, but this would not be my first or second choice for a place to stay when in town.

There were a lot of broken lamps shades and covers in the hallway. The rooms could have been cleaned better.

Lovely front desk agent. Efficient buffet staff. Delicious breakfast buffet included eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt -- nice selection for a quick breakfast. Room was clean, bed was firm and comfortable

There must have been a dog convention. Huge dogs everywhere. Room smelled like animals. Was there 2 hours and my eyes nose and throat went crazy. Had a allergy attack so obviously dogs been in room prior and not properly cleaned. Broken electrical socket but still had to use. Bedding aweful. Weirdly nice bathroom towels. Tv and remove ancient. Hole in wall. Mold in tub. And all this for a very high room rate. Will never stay there again.

Breakfast options were disappointing - hotel common areas were rundown

The hotel staff was very friendly and assisted me in printing some documents. The rooms were clean and in great condition.

Rome not ready for check in at 5:00 PM. Hotel has clearly fading facilities. Elevator out of order part of time. Only on third floor so not a big deal but could be for some

Nice room with a bed that provided great back support. Comfortable and clean, the only thing that was a little strange is that my room did not have a bathtub; it had a Wallin shower with seat and the option for handheld shower had.

The customer service was kind of disappointing. When I first walked in neither the lady nor the man at the desk greeted me, let alone acknowledged my presence. If that wasn't enough the lady ignored me, then when another guest appeared behind me from the hallway she started helping him as though I were invisible. As for the actual room, one thing I like about La Quinta's is that the rooms are usually quiet and the beds are comfortable. A lot of hotels have thin walls and you can hear elephants stomp above you on higher floors. But La Quinta's are always very quiet, which is fantastic. I also travel with a dog so I really appreciate that there are no additional fees. There was also a very limited amount of space for my dog to go potty, but there are a few small patches of grass out front and around the side. The room felt fairly clean and the shower was decent. Overall, while the room was quiet and fulfilled its purpose, I was just so taken aback by how poor the customer service was that I don't know if i would stay here again. Although I will say the gentleman who checked me out the next day was great and very friendly. I wish I had spoken to him the whole time!

So, I drove right past it. It's hidden behind something or other. Had to do a bunch of U-Turns in the dark. The front desk staff was a little distracted but nice. The room was very clean and had what we needed. Breakfast was good. I love that it's a no smoking hotel but surprised that it was animal friendly. Allergies?? Nice place overall.

Clean friendly close to UVA hospital. Good breakfast,super firm bed, a staff that move us when we had a problem with a smokey smell. The staff just gave us another room and it was fine. On top of the nice overall experience they even sent us to a nearby restaurant that was great. Thanks Cliff and Ruth Dowdy
