Clean room with kitchenette, sofa and desk, hot breakfast, very friendly staff, would certainly visit again

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the TownePlace last year. I take a little trip each year to a nationwide rollerskating event which is called Rolling in the Carolinas. I love this hotel, and everything about it. Staff is kind and helpful laundry facilities on premisis and location is great. Shopping and dining nearby.

Very nice experience would recommend to people. Would stay again

This hotel had a great location! It was near the boardwalk and university area which was perfect. Staff was awesome! The only negative thing I would have to say is carpet in the hallways needs to be replaced with new carpet and the suites are a bit small but still cozy!

TV didn't work. Old cabinets, newer carpet, older shower curtains. Terrible caulk job in tub. Kitchen was just ok. Staff was great and gave me a discount for TV not working.

We chose this hotel because we were traveling with our three children, and wanted room to spread out a little. We would have been better off in a regular hotel room. The pictures were exactly what they had.... Minus the holes in the furniture, old and nasty appliances, and ridiculously small breakfast and eating area. Our room was beside the main stairs, so all night long we could hear conversations in the stairwell, people tromping around upstairs, and babies crying. The couch literally had large holes in it, the towels were worn and fraying, and the kitchenette appliances looked like they were at least 20 years old. Check-in and check-out was smooth, and the staff was friendly, but everything else was a huge disappointment and not worth the money we paid for the night. We had a sleepless, miserable night. Do not book here.

I loved this hotel a lot, food was great,no bugs, smoking aloud and pet friendly

My experience at the TownePlace Suites was a first for me and my family. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Workout room had minimal equipment, but the bike worked, the treadmill worked and the stairmaster worked. The only downfall, in my opinion, were the beds. A little worn out. I could feel the springs in a couple of places. However, I will return to this hotel in the future and I will not hesitate to stay in another location if a TownePlace Suites is an option.

I will admit that I didn't do much more than lie on the couch and watch television during my stay. I was physically exhausted from the interstate move I was making. All I really needed was a place to sleep for the night. However, this was a nice hotel room with the kitchenette, nice bathroom, lounging/living area, and bed. The only problem I saw was that the windows looked like the needed replacing or work. I would not have even noticed except housekeeping accidentally left them open, and they creaked and screeched when I closed them. Also, the continental breakfast left something to be desired. However, it was a holiday. What they did have at breakfast was free, so I can't really complain. Otherwise, I didn't see any issues. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good price for the value, especially with the kitchenette. The hotel was extremely easy to find - right off the interstate. If for some reason I ever find myself in Charlotte again, I will definitely stay here.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The full service kitchen was a very plesant surprise. Centrally located to area restaurants and shopping made this an ideal place to stay. Easy access to I-85 was an added bonus.

The hotel was older, not fancy, but had the basics; enjoyed the large rooms, and the complete kitchen.

visiting Charlotte for a short one night stay and had the option of staying with friends. I choose this hotel instead. [...]

Very clean, soft pillows, full kitchen, and very quiet. The mattress was very springy, but far from the worst we've slept on. Not enough blankets, but I would imagine they would have brought more had we asked. Polite staff. Continental breakfast was ok, thought it said buffet. Would definitely stay again.

I only stayed in this hotel one night. i was in a good location, very clean and had a friendly staff. They also have a nice, free breakfast in the morning.

not many amenities but a well run establishment

Having breakfast included is a huge plus. But overall, the experience was nice

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was superb. The room provided great amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Great location for what we were doing, close to the verizon wireless ampitheater. Easy interstate access. The room was clean and just as described.

Vist was good, just for one night. Several youth ball teams staying at the hotel, and they were a little loud at times, and filled up the breakfast area the next morning. Overall not a bad stay.

The Townplace Suites was very comfortable as we had two seperate bedrooms both had lots of closet space there own dresser and tv. We were surprised at the room sizes and all the amenities that were included we are planning another trip and hope there will be rooms available,We will also tell others this is an excellent hotel and a pleasent and friendly place to stay
