Staff was rude, thw place was discusting, and they have to have security tonight because of all the sketchy people in the parking lot. Our shower was broken and you can tell they fo not take care of the place.

Our wasn't comfortable we had an old window unit to try and heat the room. The advertise breakfast did not exist. We will not be back.

I paid online $101 (including taxes) for the room. When I arrived to the Hotel I found that it was an old, worn-out, uncomfortable, dark, bad, hotel with very old facilities. I felt unsure to take a shower, or use the coffee maker, and I didn’t. The price was totally out of proportions. It should have been the half or less. The personal was nice and polite, but for this price I got today a clean, beautiful and very comfortable Hotel room with modern furniture and facilities. When I saw Super 8 Chalotte University hotel and my room I felt it was a bad joke and I have being messed around. The room was already paid, and it was very late to find another hotel, other ways I would never staid and paid such high price for a so poor quality. I was really angry and very disappointed.

We stayed in room 104. Bathroom recently had water leakage, carpet was wet in front of the bathroom door. Clock kept making some weird noise had to unplug it.

I read other reviews before I decided to stay here and I thought that the reviewers that gave this place a bad score probably had too high expectations for the price. I decided that I was going to be more fair when I wrote my review. That was until I actually got to the hotel. First we got there and the staff was so incompetent that they put us in the wrong room different from what we reserved. We reserved a room with a refrigerator and a microwave and they put us in a room without them. My friend had to look up my reservation on his phone to show them that we were supposed to have a room with these things. You could smell smoke from "something illegal" (we will just say since I am not allowed to say the word in this review) in the upstairs and downstairs hallway constantly. The continental breakfast was actually more than I expected. Our keycards deactivated twice and we had to get them reloaded. Now for the room itself. The television is extremely old and the remote didn't even work for it. The plug-in for the TV wouldn't stay in the wall without the plug being bent. Also there was a short in the tv because when you push the channel down button it turned the tv off. There were holes in the floor underneath the carpet that would sink in when you stepped on them. The tile in the bathroom was loose and there were cracks in the tub that had been stucco'd. The bathtub was really thin and made a horrible creaking and cracking sound while it was in use. The alarm clock had a hole in it where it looked like someone had extinguished their cigarette on it. This place is terrible, I will never go to a Super 8 motel again if I can help it.

Nice spot. Me and my hubby stayed in charlotte for 3 nights. I was worried about getting a hotel im a bad neighborhood. It was actually in a nice spot. Tucked away from the main road. I felt pretty comphoratable staying there. Every one was really nice. And staff where on hand 24/7. Our room wasn't real fancy. But for the price it was a good value. We had a mini frige and microwave. And the beds where comphy. Over all it was a great stay. Ill deff book here again in the future.

This is a no frills hotel that is suitable for a short stay. It is old and not updated. Everything works but all is basic including breakfast. Would stay again.

there is only one problem, is that your web site stated a 11:00am check in and when we arrive at the hotel the staff inform me that it was incorrect. the check in was at 3:00pm.I had no problem since i went to visit family and came back at the right time for check in. but this would be inconveniace for some else coming in at 11:00am and not having no where to go and chill until check in time.

The stay at the hotel was fairly average for the price paid. The breakfast was good with the waffle maker.

I have to say this is the worst of the worst. We went for one night & it was a disaster. First, the handle on the inside of the room was duct taped to the door & it fell off;so we had to stick it back in to get out. Second, the lights in the bathroom were so dim we could see to use it. I called the front desk & they didn't even have maintenance working that day. So we were put in another room with smaller beds! You get what you pay for.

Over all it was fine for a one night stay, some things could have been kept up with. IE- drawer handles were falling off.

The staff was great. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel.

just stayed 1 night but seemed clean and would stay again if in area

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms could be maintained a little better. For instance, the mattresses and box springs were badly stained and need to be discarded. The walls were not the cleanest. Fianlly, although we requested a smoke-free room, the room still reeked of cigerette smoke.

The air was not working in one of the rooms and we ask to be moved. The man at the desk said he could not do it now (10:45p.m.) as the new shift was coming on and his drawer was checked out, but come back at 11:00. Several people were waiting in the lobby to check into the hotel at this time also. When we returned to the lobby just after 11:00 p.m. the young lady that was there (able to use her brain, ask why he (evening shift person) just didn't give us a room key to change rooms and worry about the paper work later. She was very efficient and helpful compared to the man that worked there. The pool was closed!!
