It was a very nice hotel, but not as good as the one I stayed in in June near the Raleigh Durham airport, whose breakfast opened at 4:00am and who had 24 shuttle service to the airport. If you have a later flight, this one near CWT is fine; but if you have a really early morning one, you may not get breakfast or a free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast supposedly opens at 5:00 and shuttles start at 5:30 or 6. My flight was at 6:00, so I lost out on these amenities.

Staff was not the friendliest! Although I was told the first 7 days were free parking I was charged $5 a day (which is still better than the airport) but then I had to pay $40 for the cab fair for us to get to the airport!! Deadbolt that was on our door was held on by only 2 VERY loose screws! Stains on the carpet and bleach spots everywhere from when I guess they tried to clean it! Overall we'll not be returning to this one!!

Terrible nights sleep due to loud bearing noise and loud fan noise in old, dilapidated and old fashioned wall heating unit.

Dog friendly which is fine but we had to deal with drilling dogs barking for well over an hour. As we were trying to get to sleep for an early flight it was quite annoying.

Except of the cable and slow draining sink, it was a very old experience. Comfortable bed and great breakfast.

My partner and I stayed here for one night, after coming in very late from a Charlotte flight. It's a "get what you paid for" situation. We were coming in very, very late and knew we'd only be there through the morning, so we just needed a bed and a shower, and a place that accepted dogs. That's what we got. One thing about this hotel that we loved was their shuttle service. We got in from a delayed flight at about 1 am and they came and got us anyway. The gentleman who had to get us had to wait for us because our luggage was slow to come out, and he was very friendly and positive, despite the late hour. Shuttle service is free, also.

Only 4 miles to downtown Charlotte. Being close to airport was no issue with the noise. They even let us keep our bicycles in the room for the 3 days that we were there.

Staff was helpful. Location was convenient. Dog friendly as always.

Staff great. Quiet room. Wonderful place for dog lovers to stay. Others hotels could learn from this place how to treat guests.

We stayed at this hotel for two days. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was okay. The television in the room had sound issues and would sporadically work. On our last night there, there was a lot of noise and running up and down the hallways. We could clearly hear the people in the room next to us who were extremely loud.

Arrived with room ready, clean and spacious. Great place to bring pets. No doggie odor and everyone with there pets seem to enjoy their stay. Only drawback was that there was limited areas for pets to do their 'business' . Breakfast was usual ' hotel' fare, but did the trick. Looking for another La Quinta on our return home. Also, no crazy pet fee.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 8 yrs. Great hotel, staff always nice, rooms always clean. Great area, lots of places to eat at, fast food or restaurants.

Was upset at 1/2 hr wait for pick up at airport, the whole purpose of airport hotel is to be quick, and I was upset. The next day I had a problem getting ready for my meeting and the staff absolutely pulled out the stops to help. Even getting supplies out of the managers office. Would be 5 Star if pick up was faster, but given the outstanding service it's 4.75 star!

Second time staying at this hotel, staff was nice, room was clean.

Arrived late due to airline. The staff made a special effort to help us get to the hotel by having the shuttle driver come and get us even even though it was just a few minutes before the service ended for the night. They could have just as easily told us it was to late. ..but they came and got us with a smile. ...

The room I got was quite noisy. I could hear door slamming, and ice machine since the room was right by the exit. So overall, it wasn't adequately soundproof.

Nonfunctional HVAC. Unhelpful staff. 80+ degree room. Will NEVER return.

Hi Mary, I do apologize for the inconvenience. Each property can set the breakfast and shuttle times. We start both at 5am each day. Dog friendly which is fine but we had to deal with drilling dogs barking for well over an hour. As we were trying to get to sleep for an early flight it was quite annoying.

nice hotel close to downtown charlotte, quiet.

Only 4 miles to downtown Charlotte. Being close to airport was no issue with the noise. They even let us keep our bicycles in the room for the 3 days that we were there.
