Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Huntersville - Birkdale

The hotel was a great stopping point overnight while traveling. Convenient to I-77. Checking in and out was efficient and the service was friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. The bathroom setup in the suites is great - plenty of room for more than one person to "get ready" in the morning. Nice kitchenette. I will return.

Weekends include extended breakfast hours - nice. Disappointed at first that 2 beds means a queen and a sofa bed, but we made it work. The sofa bed tradeoff is that you get more floor space.

Nice bed and bath. Breakfast was ok. Room size was good. Location was great with lot of nearby restaurants

It was a nice hotel. It was budget friendly. It was a convenient location into Charlotte.

This was a very nice hotel, staff was accommodating and rooms were clean.

Two adults staying 4 nights visiting our son. This hotel would have received all five stars with the ONLY issue being the bathtub took over an hour to drain after a shower. Not a huge issue for me that there was no maintenance person onsite (it was the 4th of July). The room was impeccably clean, VERY spacious, and quiet (and we were RIGHT off the elevator). If you are a family, and don't want the kids sleeping on a queen pullout couch, this isn't for you. The bed, however, was very comfortable. Overall, highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again.

This room was extremely convenient to stay in; it had all the necessities and even more. Having a separate living area was especially nice with children so that we all didn't feel we had to pile on the bed at the same time to watch tv. The kitchen with fridge and microwave was perfect. There is even a freezer component in the fridge, able to re-freeze ice packs for travelling.

This hotel is perfect for 1-2 people and may even be fine if you want to put the kids on a sofabed, but just know - EVERY ROOM IN THIS HOTEL ONLY HAS ONE BED. There was no indication that a "Standard Room" means one bed and a fold out sofa (which is up against the A/C unit). I booked 4 people for a "standard room" and there was nothing in the reservation to indicate that two of the adults would have to camp out on a sofa bed. Very uncomfortable and very unexpected. Other than that, this was a very nice hotel but probably first and last time I'll stay there.

This hotel is clean and located near where we were going. We have stayed here before and I consider this hotel to be a good value.

This is the second time we've stayed at the hotel and have loved it both times. For the money, you can't beat the location, cleanliness, free breakfast, and staff. Everyone is very accomodating!

It was not far from downtown. Low key and quiet area. Nice location to restaurants and shops.
