Overall great. Very comfortable and easy access to Charleston. Close to grocery store and quiet environment. BUT, furnitures need to be updated and deep clean.

Beautiful facility, desirable location, friendly, responsive and competent staff.

There was so much mold underneath the soap dish in the shower it was absolutely disgusting they need to learn what bleach is.

The property is beautiful and the staff is awesome! Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

We were visiting relatives in the area and decided to make the most of the beach.

I have stayed here several times and plan to return. My only complaint is the food - the restaurants are ridiculously expensive for what they are. $22 for a southern breakfast for one is crazy!!! Are they golden eggs? Besides the food, I love everything about this resort.

Very clean facilities, friendly staff. Very happy with our stay.

I love Wild Dunes! I do feel it's time to update the rooms at The Boardwalk Inn. Popcorn ceilings are cracking and have many stains.

We had an enjoyable enough time at Wild Dunes however, we were disappointed to discover that beach chairs and beach umbrellas were not included in the cost of the room and had to be rent separately. When flying to a luxury beach resort, most guests would expect those amenities to be included. To make matters worse, the chairs that are available for rent may look nice, but they are an antiquated design and uncomfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as were the common areas. I might consider returning, primarily because I enjoyed the area and there is a lack of other luxury hotel options in the area.

Unfortunately, we made our reservation for the weekend of this historic rain and flooding. The forecast was ominous and we called to cancel and/or reschedule a day or two before we left. Sadly and even though they too knew the forecast, the resort would not accomodate our request without keeping our deposit. (over $400) In addition, USAIR did the same thing. So, we either traveled or not travel and lose a significant amount of money. We went and hoped for the best and that did not happen. The condo was beautiful but staff was minimal in the resort and all services were cancelled. We were lucky to get one meal in their restaurant. We don't fault the resort management for the decision to cancel services, activities, etc. due to the flooding, but we do believe a very bad decision was made to not allow us the flexibility to change our dates given the circumstances. They did at least give us a refund on our last night as we left a day early. We should have never went at all. We still hope to return as the people on site were friendly and the location is beautiful.

Our condo on the beach was a fabulous location, but the unit was extremely bare bones. We loved the amenities such as the lap pool and the sandwiches at the market. Would definitely return to the resort, but would ask for a better furnished condo.

have been to wild dunes many times, this was first time in Boardwalk inn. Experience was great, just great. We asked for early checkin and were graciously allowed to check in early, we found all the staff to be friendly and the other guests also seemed pleasent to interact with. The facility could use some TLC, ie wallpaper by the elevator peeling off all. Also every day we had to call for ice as the machine on floor never worked. Housekeeping could use mroe attention to details like replacing wated glasses in room and less time making shapes hearts with candy on bed. Not trying to be mean but just being honest. Sea Island Grill great and room service and front desk perfect.

All of our ideas of a great vacation were met. The only problem was that it was way too short. We tried to cover a lot in our days there. We hope to make another trip at another time.

Room was supposed to have king bed, did not. Was very humid on second floor, air conditioner didn't help.

Overall a very friendly, afford-ably priced resort. Nice location, clean and close to the beach. Nice size rooms and plenty of amenities. Only complaint was housekeeping. On first day did not replenish body wash and took away kitchen towels and did not provide new ones. Skipped our room cleaning on second day.

Great summer vacations. Everything we wish for was there and our kids had a blast. Charleston is very close by and there are a lot of things to do between the resort and the town. Everything is vert convenient and the beach is gorgeous. Will come back!

We had a great time at wild dunes isle of Palm. The location can't be beat and the place is very clean and serene. We had a fun and relaxing weekend.

Staff was wonderful. Our room wasn't ready so they comped us dinner and drinks. Wonderful food and service. Loved the towel service, valet parking, and adult pool. Can't wait to go back again.

Loved this place! Staff was very courteous and attentive. Beautiful and vast complex. Condo on second floor overlooked the beach was nicely furnished and had all necessities needed. Screen on porch needed repair. Rental beach chairs need upgrade. Plenty of activities like tennis, biking , golf, for small fees. Free gym. Many good eateries and 30 min from downtown Charleston.

Wild dunes is great place stayed at the village will come back and stay longer,
