Super nice hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Wished we had time to stay longer!

The hotel is about ten to fifteen minute drive to visitors center which gives you access to so many other things to do.

My partner and I had an appointment in the West Ashley area so we just needed a basic name-brand hotel, and we wanted it to be around $100 for a night. Sleep Inn fit the bill. This is a pretty good hotel and for our purpose, we'd stay there again. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. Check-in and check-out were both easy. Breakfast offered hot and cold options, including the usual - cereals, breads, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and with hot eggs, sausage, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was pretty good too. During the day, you can get coffee, make a cup of tea or hot chocolate, and they had warm cookies in the afternoon. They share a pool with the Best Western nextdoor, and the pool was nice. The water was a little cold this time of year, but a good size and well-maintained. The location is good too - near many yummy restaurants like Early Bird Diner (within walking distance) and The Glass Onion. The only drawback that I have for this hotel is the A/C unit. It has one of those units in-room that are quite loud, and can leave the room smelling a bit damp and old. I'd suggest that Sleep Inn consider putting in central air/heating sometime in the future.

This hotel was fresh, bright, and welcoming. We stayed here as an overnight while traveling with a dog, and couldn't be happier. You would never know we were out in a "pet friendly" room at all! It was so clean and smelled great. The staff was friendly and eager to please. And typical continental breakfast it was not! They had bacon, omelettes, biscuits n gravy, on top of the usual fare. Definitely pleased and would stay again!!

Cookies and bottled water upon arrival was a great touch! Staff was beyond friendly. Breakfast was pancakes, waffles, omelettes, toast, bagels, Danishes, English muffins, cereal, sausage, bacon, yogurt, boiled eggs, and biscuits and gravy....all excellent! Great location too...go to the Early Bird Diner just down the road and get the chicken and waffles....to die for!!

Room was OK. A little dated. Breakfast was decent. It worked for us while visiting Charleston.

The hotel was close to downtown and ok for the price. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. The room was ok at best. There was a gap between the door and the frame so when it was closed and locked and you were outside the door you could still see inside.

It was a great stay at the hotel. It was very convenient to the dining in West Ashley and close to 526 to get near the outlets and shopping.

Pretty O.K. Excellent breakfast. Polite, if not very friendly staff. In fairness, they seemed somewhat understaffed.

We are frequent travelers, including Europe, U.S., China, etc. The location seemed perfect, next to another hotel even. We were surprised that the entrance had been greatly exaggerated in the photos. The same was true for other photo areas. The real surprise was the bathroom. The toilet had brown water, though no solids could be seen. Someone had not flushed away the last use. And it looked like it needed a serious cleaning, as if it had not been done in a long time. Otherwise acceptable though expensive for what we received. We will find something else next time, and not recommend it.

it was worth every dollar we spent..and it was very comfortable..the breakfast bar was awesome..the only situation if you want to call it that..was the parking..place could use about 10 or 15 more spaces..

I was in town to see a band at the Pour House and needed a nice hotel for the night. It's clean, the staff is friendly and the room was very nice. I'd say the beds are a little harder than other hotels that are in this price range, but definitely in-the-zone.

It was confortable and clean. The staff was helpful.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The motel itself was clean but very noisy. You could hear noise in the adjoining rooms. The lights in the room were flourescent lights with the old style ballasts that hummed. The location was convenient to downtown Charleston. This was a last minute motel reservation and filled our needs for the stay.

Make that reconstruction, The floor we were on had old carpet pulled up and new roll laying in hall. The room, once we got to it, was ok but in need of the facelift I hope is coming. Pillows are terrible. It was clean, the heat worked. Boring breakfast but available.

Good location nice staff clean...no complaints at all

Stayed here for a show at the Pour House. Really close by, in a good area. "Breakfast" kinda sucked, but hey, cheapest in the area and not bad at all.

We didn't experience any problems. The room was clean. Hotel located close to attractions.

This hotel did not meet my most important standard...cleanliness. Floor was dirty, sheets on one of the beds were stained, furniture was very worn. Location was good for my needs. Staff was friendly, if they spoke to you. Breakfast was limited.

Took a child to visit College of Charleston. This was only four miles from the school. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable.
