Hotel is run down and not worth the price point. We were disappointed.

This was the best hotel with the most excellent full breakfast bar I ever tasted.

Overpriced and lousy in every way. Dirty room, no hot water, breakfast caused immediate diarrhea.

Easy access to highway/interstate and somewhat centrally located to many tourist locations. Wish there was a larger coffee pot and "real" cups but having a full size fridge was a huge bonus. Would have been nice to have had plateware in the rooms for guests and dish soap to wash but front desk always has disposable available. Cleaning staff is very efficient, almost too much so. They knocked right and early and barely give you 3 seconds to get to the door before they use their key to open and let themselves in. Maintenance crew was excellent and very prompt in addressing our repair needs. Not the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in but certainly cleaner than some. Would consider staying here if my travels ever lead me to South Carolina again.

When we first arrived there was pet hair and human hair all over the bedding. There was no shower curtain either. After our room was cleaned, they didn't bring back new towels. Not thrilled

Did not get clean towels or the bathroom clean did not get my deposit back when I left cuz I paid cash was not told to wait on it

There was shoes under the bed from who ever stayed there before me and the room had an smell. Breakfast was great and the staff was Nice

Need more staff and need upgrade furniture and elevator needs improvements

The room lay out was good. However, housekeeping on the 3rd floor needs a lot of improvement in Customer service and services. They failed to clean our room. When I called about it, they sent housekeeping. I asked that she clean the bathroom and provide fresh towels, she provided fresh towels bit i wouldn't say that she cleaned the bathroom. The whole time, she kept saying how she was ready to go home. She also lied and said she didn't clean the room earlier because my husband told her not to. That was a complete lie and he told her he never evwm saw her that morning. Also, the lobby and breakfast area were extremely hot. They had a fan on a table as you entered the breakfast area to attempt to cool the room. There is only 1 very slow elevator.

The location for us was very good because we were visiting different areas around Charleston, so we could easily have access to those areas without having to always be in the middle of downtown traffic. The main bed was comfortable, but if you need to sleep on the pull out sofa, make sure to request an extra comforter that you can fold and lay under the sheets otherwise you will have spring box marking on your back. Also if you are a light sleeper make sure not to stay near the ice machines as some people have no consideration and decide to fill up their coolers at 5 in the morning. The room we stayed in probably could use new carpets and a new sofa mattress. They offer a decent continental breakfast. I would suggest that they kept a fresh water and coffee station outside the breakfast room the rest of the day.

No hot water at times.. cockroaches.. dirty.. indoor pool is NOT heated so couldnt use.. however, staff was super and so was the breakfast!

You get a good deal but when you check in there is another $25 fee that they take out of your account from the motel. This fee is not anything that they tell you about because they take it out to hold against potential cleaning along with your credit card number. We find this out once you checked into the room and they've already taken the money out of your account. You cannot check into the room without paying this extra fee.

I was impressed that it had a living room area and separate bedroom however the furniture needs to be cleaned and the room needs to be dusted more around the doors etc for your white glove inspection in order to get a 5 rating. There wasn't any bugs so that was good. Overall, it was a pleasant room.

The room smelled like stale cigarettes & there was hair all over the bathroom. The shower curtain was missing 4 grommets so I couldn't close it all the way; when I told the maid, she brought another curtain with no liner. I had to use towels to soak up all the water in the floor my first 2 showers. My key card stopped working & when I went to the desk, nobody was there. I rang the bell 3 times, after about 5 minutes someone finally came from the back. I will not stay there again!

When I checked into the room, it had a stinch. We had to spray it with Lysol. the sofa was hard a as brick. Also, we told housekeeping to come back to clean our room. That was about 11 AM. When we left, we saw a housekeeping cart at the end of the hall and another one at the elevator. Also, there were rooms that were left open by the housekeeping staff that wasn't cleaned. So apparently. they weren't finished cleaning. So when we came back after seeing a family member in the hospital, out beds weren't made and the linens weren't changed. when we told the front desk staff, she said that they stopped cleaning at 11 AM. I told her that they weren't finished because they had carts at the end of the hall and at the elevator AND there were rooms whose doors were wide open and the beds weren't made. The staff didn't acknowledge that. i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay was good. Breakfast was okay, could be better. But at least the location was a quiet place, so I got to rest and relax

I booked a "non-refundable" reservation at this hotel and listed my mother as the one checking in. My 75 year old mother had to cancel her trip and I thought there would be no problem checking in under my name. I mean... my name is on the payment method. Well, my LESSON here today is that I cannot change the name. And Ms. Simmons seem to thoroughly enjoy teaching this lesson. I was checked in "accidently" by a young agent that was actually most pleasant, but the pleasantry ended when "warden" Simmons came over. The mood immediatley changed as she made it clear that the newer agent made a mistake by changing the name and checking me in. She acted made it clear that they did me a "favor" by checking me in. Next, after realizing that I previously booked a King bed I humbly returned to the front desk and asked about the possiblity of a room with double beds. "No, we have already gone above and beyond" was the response I got. I went back to the room, with my tail between my legs, politely accepting that I would have to share a King bed. BUT, the longer I sat in that room the more the stench in the room made me dizzy. Really. It was beginning to make me lightheaded. Coupled with the digust with the front desks inhospitable manner and the rooms growing stench I decided to contact Orbitz since they are who I booked with. All I wanted was a clean room, anywhere, at this point. After speaking with me, the Orbitz customer care called the hotel front desk. She then called me back. Basicn

The room I stayed in was bit worn. The toilet didn't work well. The shower knob was broken. The bathroom was very dirty. They did not have many towels and had to request more on two different occasions. The other facilities were nice.

The hotel isn't bad. It seems a little dated and overpriced; but it was clean and didn't have any glaring issues. There is only one elevator, so that can be a little annoying during high traffic times. Never seemed to be anyone at the front desk in the evenings.

We stayed for 3 nights. The front desk was nice when they were around, it was very hard to find someone for assistance when needed. The staff in the kitchen on the other hand wasn't so nice. The room had a very strong odor when we arrived, as if someone was eating in there right before. We requested a non pet friendly room and the room had animal hair all over the couch & chair. The couch and chair had stains, so I had to cover them up with sheets before I felt comfortable allowing my family to sit on them. The carpet was filthy, we had to wear socks or sandals the entire time we were in the room otherwise our feet would turn black. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom from the mop, so I did have to clean that up with a towel before using. The beds were clean and comfortable. No bugs of any kind. (Yes we check for bugs in each hotel we stay at just in case!) The shower/tub was clean, no mold. (we have allergies so we would have known right away) The rooms could use a little updating especially new carpeting but other than that, it was for the most part clean and decent.
