Near freeway exit. Lousy wifi. Crappy tube tv. musty as air is not run except in room

For less than a Motel 6, we were able to find a room here last minute as we made our way back from the solar eclipse festivities. What a treat to find that not only was it a few dollars less, but that everything was clean and comfortable, the carpet was plush, the pool area felt like we were in California...The palm trees, the arcade games, the seating around the pool and the open courtyard made this experience feel like we were transported back to the 1980s, in the best way possible. Whomever owns and works here takes great care and pride in their space and services. Highly recommend for those who like to be transported back in time and feel like they're on a mini vacation during their vacation.

We went to check in and drove away after already paying for the room online. People in parking lot doing business and the place was so run down. Did not feel safe. Looked like it was closed down.

Stayed her for the Illinois Marathon and saved huge compared to staying in Champaign. However this place looks like it hasn't been touched for 30-40 years. The bed was soft. Everything else was old, smokey, and dirty. Found toe nails on the floor. We were only here to sleep. It served its purpose. Hotel staff was super friendly.

The room was dirty, the door would not close completely, the staff was nowhere in sight when you needed them.

the location was great but the room needed lots of TLC

THE BED WAS BAD, WE LEFT AT 2 AM. THE BED HAD A SLANT TO IT.

I booked the hotel several weeks prior to my stay - needing a hotel near UofI after a home football game, and this was within a 20 minute drive of Champaign (all other hotels were booked in Champaign-Urbana as you can imagine). The staff was friendly and professional, but really that was the highpoint. The pictures online of the hotel made the rooms appear much nicer than they actually were. You can't capture smell in a photograph. I had requested a non-smoking room but the room reeked of cigarettes, and the interior was extremely dated and in poor condition. The room door made us particularly nervous. I layed awake for much of the night worrying if the door was strong enough to hold should someone try to break in. An uncomfortable night at best. For the money it was not a good value - they need to invest money to improve upon the interior of the rooms for the comfort and safety of the guests. Personally I'd prefer to spend more for a nicer room that I felt safer in.

It's been awhile since I have been to days inn. Employees were nice and friendly. Very quite. Beds were comfortable.

It was a little grungy and very dated. I expected better but I did not complain and just stuck it out. I won't do it again

The person who checked us in was very friendly. Half of the rooms over look a pool, which created an echo at night, making it hard to sleep because a lot of people were out an about.

Traveling to visit my daughter in Champaign, this was the closest hotel as all others were booked. The hotel was not very clean, nor was the room. The same "dirty areas" in the room (and there were many), remained untouched during our stay. Lamps and/or outlets/light switches did not work. The sink area had a VERY dim overhead light. Many areas in the room were in disrepair. Due to time constraints and other hotel availability, I did not lodge a formal complaint with management. In conversations, with other hotel guests, I was not the only one who was dissatisfied. Would I recommend this hotel, absolutely not. Would I stay at another Days Inn, probably not. The type of cleaning/repairs needed for this room were of basic maintenance and upkeep, not extraordinary repairs. Wiping down furniture and vacuming is not much to ask for. The beds were made (hopefully with clean linen that first day)and fresh towels were provided. I travel, at a minimum, quarterly for business and every oen to two months for personal reasons. I have never used Orbitz before and trusted in the hotels suggested as the ones I would generally stay in (while in Champaign)were booked and being unfamiliar with the area, I looked to your company for assistance. I suggest that your company re-evaluate this hotel as a suggested place to stay.

Absolutely MUSTY room, so wet and muggy, the paint was falling off, mold in all corners, smelled horrible,
