we arrived early for check in (but we called ahead to do early check in). there was noon a at the desk when we arrived. we waited about 10 minutes before someone showed up. we had pre booked a room and then I girl at the desk changed from the one we had asking do you really need a handicap room. I said that is what we booked(just because my husband is not in a wheelchair doesn't make him less handicapped. she keep pushing the issues. so we took another room. the room was the next to the last one on the first floor. A very long walk for a handicap person

Rooms are nice , hotel lobby and common grounds may be a little dated but it's a skii vibe with multiple fireplaces and fresh cookies made at 4pm. Town bus picks up right out front for the mountain and free breakfast is good. Not a 5 star hotel but for the price it's just right

Nice place, clean, could use some updating however. Short ride to Killington. Cheap in comparison to hotels on mountain.

The room was very large. Much larger than expected and appeared newly renovated. Good location for skiing. Overall really good experience

We had a good experience here. The staff was very friendly, the grounds were nice and the the common area was nice as well. The room decor was a little old, but seemed clean. The big issue is the lack of an indoor pool. It's advertised as having one on this site, and we picked it specifically for that so our daughter could play in the pool. It turns out it's a pool within walls but no roof, and the pool itself wasn't in great shape. This was kind of disappointing, and maybe the information for this hotel needs to be updated.

my grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the continental breakfast. hotel was nearby to rutland and Brandon to visit.

This looks like it was a beautiful hotel in the height of it's day. The rooms and grounds are in desperate need of updating. It was a comfortable stay and things seemed neat and tidy, but definitely needs some TLC. They did have some awesome samples from various companies which I thought was a great way for a company to promote people trying their products! We tried them all and I know I'll be buying a couple of them due to the samples like Emergen-C, Ludens, Tom's of Maine products, Wheat Thins, etc. I think more companies *should* do this to promote their products. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area looked nice although we didn't use the pool. The continental breakfast was just ok. They have a nice dining area but it would be nice to have eggs even if they were just boiled eggs or some other protein and have a few more fruit choices. You can hear things going on in the hallway like most hotels which is bothersome when you'd like to sleep in but have early riser guests in surrounding rooms making noises and talking or closing doors loudly. This would be a good place for a wedding party or large family group to stay as all the rooms open up into a big atrium which is a nice in certain situations where everyone knows each other (or wants to know each other). Overall, I would stay here again if I'm in the area. It is a nice hotel in a great location, just a bit worn.

We chose this hotel over North Star Lodge which is a little bit closer to Killington but much overpriced. Cortina is still one of the hotels that you want to stay in if you ski or snowboard and you want to get to the mountain quick. The staff was friendly, however I feel that the swimming pool and hot tub could be opened much longer. They close it at 8pm so we didn't even have a chance to get there. Everything else was very good.

Pretty good place to stay, definitely had the mountain B&B feel. Hot tub felt great on sore muscles. Room was small but comfortable. I would stay there again. Great location close to mountain and bars for going out!

I stayed here with my two teenage kids for a long ski weekend. I will definitely stay here again next time I go back to the Killington area. This hotel was recently (fall 2011) renovated. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a lobby with a central fireplace that is a great place to go at night to browse the internet or read a book (internet is free). There is a free breakfast that is wonderful (lots of choices and good food) however they do not serve lunch or dinner. There are tons of great restaurants and bars very near to the hotel. There is also a Sports Authority in Rutland about 15 minutes away if you need to buy some last minute ski gear but don't want to get robbed on the mountain.
