Was there for 2 nights, of which 1 day the city was short of water supply. Hotel staff provided extra bottled water to tide over the period. Fortunately the city regained its water supply that same evening. Room was clean and good as new. Good location; near bus stops where Airport Bus is available, central to sites of interests, shopping street and food places.
had a brilliant long weekend in Thessaloniki this hotel is lovely very good location close to everything you need shops, culture ,art places to eat and the sea front lovely walks the rooms are very nice everything you need very comfortable beds and breakfast good the art work in the rooms are very different and gives each room a different look very nice Thessaloniki is a lovely city and a very nice weekend break
We stayed at City Hotel Thessaloniki for 3 nights in March. All our impressions are as positive as it could be. Location of the hotel is great, short walk from all main sightseeing of Thessaloniki. If you are traveling by airplane, you can easy reach hotel from Thessaloniki airport by public transport – bus 78 (thicket costs 2 euros per person). Bus stop is near Aristotelous Square, at Tsimiski Street, just a dozen meters from the hotel. City Hotel Thessaloniki is very clean, tidy, with modern interior. Beds and pillows are so comfortable (which is not so common for 3 star hotels in Greece). Rooms have been cleaned every day of our stay and is important to know that all have AC and that heating is great. There is not noise at the hotel. For breakfast there is variety of standard continental food. Staff and management of the hotel are very polite, kind and helpful (especially Konstantin; if you are guests from Serbia, he speaks Serbian fluently). Tip: if you are nonsmoker, while you are making a reservation for the hotel, emphasize that you want nonsmoking floor. If you want to visit Serbian Cemetery, Zeitenlik, there is no need to rent a car. Just 10 minutes from the hotel, at Egnatia Street you can take local bus 27 that stops at the cemetery and is about 8 stops or 15 minutes away from Egnatia stop. Make sure to buy ticket at the near newspaper stand. When we plan to visit Thessaloniki again, we will definitely stay at City Hotel Thessaloniki.
Found this hotel to be in a great location staff are very helpful Ask them if I could use a phone charger as I left mine back at home they did all they can to help me and got me a one . I found all the staff here to be very friendly and welcoming any help you need or advice in where to go and what to do ,they where happy to obliged . Found the breakfast to be decent enough variety for all . Would definitely come back and stay here
Stayed for 3 nights in early March in a superior room. It was a good choice. The room was spacious with a big double bed and a sofa with table. Light modern decoration, pleasant without particular personality. Breakfast nothing special. The hotel is right in the center of the city, next to Plateia Aristotelous and close to the ladadika district (with lots of restaurants and bars) and the harbour. Breakfast nothing special. Overall good value for money and unbeatable location.
I would call it a business hotel. The room was accepted and they had a great breakfast. Being on vacation it was close to major tourist sites. This is second largest city in Greece but you wouldn't know it until you stepped out of the hotel.
Very good central location near Aristotelous Square, very nice and modern place, nice and relatively small rooms, good service, good cleanliness, very nice breakfast, easy access to shopping area, parking available.
Excellent hotel. Very centrally located, close to most of the sites and restaurants. Good breakfast. Rooms a bit small, but very well equipped. Very friendly service I can definitely recommend and would stay there again. Value for money
The room was not big but clean and comfortable. The breakfast quite good and the personnel very polite. The reception and the restaurant as well as the corridors are decorated with a modern touch wich in interesting. A good value for money hotel at a nice place!
Went here for a two night stay for a conference. Web side boasts a boutique hotel - well, not quite. Nice large room, but here in February the room temperature is quite different from one end of the room to the other. Close to the air-con outlet: hot. Close to the windows: cold and draft-ridden. I had to ask for an extra blanket, as I don’t like having the air-con on during the night. There is a quite cozy bar, but the Caesar salad, if otherwise ok, was WAY too salty for me. Amenities otherwise ok if not impressive. Ok value for money, but not spectacular.
