It's a short walk from the station if you cross the tracks on the overhead bridge and exit the back of the station (we didn't, and ended up getting a cab as we had heavy luggage and it was snowing)! You take a lift to the 4th floor to check in, and our room was on the 3rd floor. Lovely and clean with comfy beds, kettle etc. Only criticism was that the hot water took ages to come through and the bath took ages to fill as there was very little water flow. Other than that though excellent value, we'd stay again. Wish we'd known about the short cut from the back of the station!
we arrive to this hotel after a terible experience in hotel plawenwirth.the hotel is located in a building fllors3 and 4 the room ws big wwith air condition and a very good brekfast the parking place was big and everything was ok.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel as a stop over. The room was dated but it was spacious and accommodating. They offered a good breakfast and have nice staff. Everything is clean and I had a comfortable sleep.
We booked this hotel as it was close to where my family lives. However, after the first night we had to move to a different hotel, as the noise level from the "glass recycling bin" was unbearable. I am not exaggerating when I say, that between 2am and 7am every 5 minutes we heard glass bottles shattering while being thrown in the respective recycling bins; thus keeping us up all night.
Turns out a good surprise. The staff was kind and the room not very big but nice. The bed was very comfortable so much so that I haven't slept as good in a long time. It's not far from the center and there is a enclosed parking for the guests at the back of the building.
Average is the perfect description of this hotel. The room was clean, and spacious, the inventory a bit old (except the pretty new TV). Very near to the fairground and the main railway station. Perfect parking situation (free parking in the garage). Nice staff, late check in was no problem at all, booking was done fast and uncomplicated. Really old safe, but the hotel made a safe impression. The breakfast was average as well: Good choice of tea, good coffee. Besides that nothing spectacular. I personally would not go there for vacation, but for business it's definetely suitable.
the location is very good, about 200m from banhof, and easily accessible by walk. the sraff are very friendly and present all time. nice restaurant and breakfast. lovely room design and super clean and comfort toilets and beds.
This hotel says they have wifi, but every time we walk by the router is unplugged. It did not work in the breakfast room either. Even though it shows up in the wifi list. Showers are cold, super high pressure water, smelly room. Will not be back.
The location is advantageous for a City break - near the station, a short way to the city. Staff very friendly and accommodating, amazing views from the terrace, a great place for breakfast and to relax. The staff is very freundlich.Die rooms spacious and very clean. Breakfast is ok.Wir were only at 9.30 clock, everything was almost empty eaten. Fully and fairly warm in the breakfast room. We were at an event at the exhibition center. the location is ideal. Only 3 minutes away on foot. The city center is just quarter of an hour. The area around the hotel is not necessarily the einladenste.Gratis park in the garage!
This is an average 4 star hotel with helpful and friendly staff and nice breakfast. Rooms are nothing special, but are very clean and good sized. We had a room overlooking the main train station and despite the closed window, could very well hear each train that passed. When we reserved a room, they confirmed us in written that they will place a cot in the room for our child, but when we arrived they just said that they do not have available cot. Therefore, we did not sleep much during our stay... Our package (summer package) also included a farewell gift, but we did not get it. The hotel has a free parking (both outdoor and garage) what is a great thing. As well, they have free wifi. It is not far from the centre, but take into account that Klagenfurt is a small town, so all addresses in the centre can be reached by foot. I would recommend this hotel for the visit of fair, but if you come for a really short stay, there are some better positioned hotels in the centre and on the lake. The price we paid was ok, but in the same period, we got much better deals in Hilton and Radisson hotels placed in bigger towns in Austria (and Slovakia).
