DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY EVER. THE BEST THING ABOUT IT WAS LEAVING IT. THE WATER IN THE LAVATORY, BATH AND COMMODE WAS A VERY DARK BROWN---NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU FLUSHED THE COMMODE. THE MANAGER POINTED OUT THAT THERE WAS DRINKING WATER IN A CONTAINER IN THE LOBBY---BUT IT LOOKED DIRTY TOO. THE PLACE WAS DILAPIDATED AND TOUT DINGY. THE MAN WHO SHARED THE ROOM WITH ME AGREED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY HE WOULD TAKE A BATH THERE MUCH LESS SHAVE OR WASH HIMSELF IN THE LAVATORY. THIS WAS THE WORST THAT EITHER MY ROOMMATE OR I HAD EVER SEEN. THE OUTSIDE APPEARANCE WAS A MESS AS WELL. THE GUTTERS WERE ALL BENT AND THERE WAS TRASH EVERYWHERE. DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE THAT GOES WITH THIS OFFERING. THE ONLY REASON WE STAYED WAS THAT WE ARRIVED LATE AND HAD NO OTHER OPTIONS OTHER THAN SLEEPING IN OUR CAR. DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff was very friendly and serviceable. They really made us feel at home.
They could hardly speak English unless they just wanted us to think that. Would you believe the water was not drinkable. After we checked in and then went to dinner across the street we found out. While walking thru the "lobby" we saw an old sign dated several months previous that pointed to a small water bottle that said that water was save to drink. It was late so we decided to sleep there but we didn't even take showers beause of the water. If the place is still open I bet the water problem has not changed. Should be closed. Thinking about it now the sign could have been a year or more old.
Just needed a room. This was it. Breakfast included. Right off the interstate,
Decent cheaper hotel. Good parking. Just off the Interstate. Clean rooms. Nice staff.
We had 2 rooms .. 1 room the toilet was broke.. the other had no light in the bathroom.. also the 2nd room had stuff that was left from a previous guest ..
Stayed here to avoid long trip home from Iowa City after the Hawkeyes knocked off Michigan! Needed a basic room and that is what we got. Suitable. We were able to check in early and get a key for later when we got there around midnight. Didn't have to bother with check-in at that late hour.
Not bad. The whole place needs a bit of fixing up.
