Adjoining room door was open and unlocked. 2 sisters and myself felt very unsafe. Not enough towels. Toilet not flushing. TV next door on all night. Breakfast had NO protein (at least can serve boiled eggs). Very little food items for breakfast. Cleaning staff blocked narrow hallway with their supplies.

I was really terrible experience, Since we made the first step in the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel when Iowa City hotels were sold out for homecoming weekend. Previous reviews said rooms were clean and staff was friendly. This reviews were accurate. The continental breakfast was good too. The hotel staff kept it well stocked through out the morning. This is not a high end hotel (thus the name EconoLodge) but I don't think I have stayed in a place that was this reasonably priced in the past that did such a great job for budget travelers.

It was fine for the price. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Only stayed one night and it was perfect for that.

The hotel advertises an indoor pool even on their current sign however there was no pool. It had been filled with concrete because of a leak. I really enjoy a swim at the end of a long day and I was quite disappointed.

This hotel is not in a great setting--it's in a dark, semi-industrial area without many restaurants or other amenities around. But the room was surprisingly large, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed, good temperature control, nice TV, hot shower--all the basics were covered very well. Friendly staff, too.

Was a decent clean place to stay. Good location. A little more than I would like to pay per night

room was clean and the location was good. overall it is a good value and well maintained.

Stayed in a no smoking room that smelled like cigars??? Room had been kind of cleaned but cleaning service left crumbs and a couple of chips on the floor.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. The room was very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast space was much too small for the amount of guests. Well worth a second stay.

could of had blow dryers in the rooms beds where to hard and seemed like they didnt change the sheets they had a smell like someones body smell

There were a bunch of noisy kids in the room next door who didn't quiet down until 11 p.m. Otherwise, the stay was fine.
