We needed a place to sleep for a few hours and shower. It did the job. I think this was a motel turned into hotel and poorly done. The AC units and room windows opened to hallway. Hallway was about a 100 degrees because if AC unit heat.

The location of the hotel is a plus (2 mins off the interstate) and a minus (it's located in some weird concrete jungle that obviously used to be something else - maybe a gas station?) You have to drive on a dark, choppy lane for a few seconds to get up to the hotel. It feels kind of tired but very clean - let me emphasize that. Everything is clean and in order; just could use a refresher.

We just needed a bed to break up a trip. This motel worked very well for us. Continental breakfast turned out to be many more offerings than we expected. We were more than satisfied with our accommodations.. Close to outlet shopping as well.

The place was run down. Like broken windows in the hallway and a hose hanging out of the window. Stains on the chairs in the room, sheets and towels were yellow. The hallway carpets were stained and when we got candy out of the machine the candy was old. When I went to ck out there was no one at the front desk so I dialed 0 and a man answerd and I told him I wanted to ck out ,he said just leave the keys on the desk. I didn't like that. So I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel was decent. I would stay again. The rooms were quiet - heard very little outside noise. The bed was comfy. Lots of channels on tv. The Pool was cold so I did not use. There is not hot tub. The road leading up to the hotel is in need of repair - LOTS of pot holes on the driveway. Breakfast was ok but only 1 waffle maker so had to wait a long time to use it. There was no fruit offered. It was raining and there was no way to get from the rooms to the lobby where breakfast was without going outside. Internet access was slow.

That's two in a row of bad Days Inn's. I always thought that Days Inn were modest rooms at a modest price but no, they are dirty little places at moderate prices. This one the toilet was blocked when we arrived. The shower had NO pressure. The linens were discolored and stained. The breakfast was terrible. If there was ANY other place to stay even close we would have moved on. Avoid this place like the plague, otherwise you may GET the plague.

The hotel was clean the staff were good, free breakfast was ok but very small area to try and eat in,there was no elevater so good thing we were able to climb stairs

The bed and pillows were very comfortable perhaps after a day of walking and touring it felt good, however I believe it was just a good mattress. Breakfast should last longer into the morning hours. thank you

Where should I begin! Moldy bathtub, the doors are extremely hard to open at first we thought the key wasn't working but the doors just stick! We asked to get in the pool because the door was locked the staff told us they would they would get the key and be there in one minute so we stood in the hallway for over an hour!! When we finally got in they had a hose filling the pool up so the water was freezing and the bottom was green! We didn't even get in. Then while we were out of the room the cleaning lady went through our stuff!! Our clothes, food, and personal items where all moved around! I went to the front desk but they didn't know anything I asked for a refund and he said write your number down and I'll have the manager call you. NO ONE has contacted me!! Worst experience ever.

LOCATION WAS GREAT - ROOM WAS CLEAN - BED WAS GREAT - MOTEL IS VERY OLD - BATH TOWELS WERE SO OLD THERE WAS HOLES IN THEM. BUT FOR THE PRICE IT WAS GOOD.

A couple of adults were sitting on the front stoop smoking. Not the best impression. Someone told us they would be right with us. Next an AC/DC fan who yawned, told us the computer was down, tried to help, then an adult female asked us to come back in an hour so she could 'deep clean' the room. It wasn't 'deeply clean.' The pool was teeth chattering cold and no water pump circulating, but plenty of chlorine!

When we checked in at 3pm, there was still a mess at tables from breakfast. It took forever to check in. Tried to get some extras towels for the pool and had to stand and wait ten minutes as they found clean towels. The lady said they were behind on laundry. We won't be back.

At first told me they couldn't accept my [...] online reservation. Said computer not working. Said phone (!) not working. Couldn't tell what credit card I had used. After looking at all paperwork I had brought with me, (and my credit card), finally said "ok". Attendant was scruffy, spoke English poorly, tiny lobby smelled of curry (strong). Pool was closed! Urr!--heater doesn't work--too cold. Had picked this inn because my family wanted a pool. Continental breakfast was yuck. So ate elsewhere.Rooms were OK. Clean. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Carpets looked ok.Inn was located in a desolate, abandoned looking area, with an extremely dilapidated falling-apart remnant of an old restaurant. Inn had weeds growing up around it. Looked kinda scary. But turned out ok. If I had had a choice, I would have gone to another hotel, but big event in area had all other hotels booked or 3xs the $$.

The lobbie if you can call it that was fairly crowded when I went to check in. I'm not sure if it was the motel staff, or the person working the counters family, but it gave me the feeling I was interupting their conversation to check in. When checking in I was fairly disappointed to find their price advertized on the sign outside much lower than my [...]price. So much for price assurance.

We just wanted a place to sleep after shopping at the outlet mall. The location was convenient but the appearance outside needs improvement. When we went in to check in, the clerk had no idea what he was doing and didn't seem to speak much English. It also seemed that they had been working on doing some upgrades and then decided to stop half way through (the trim was torn off and not replaced yet, cords for the TV hanging down, etc). They offer free continental breakfast but the selection was horrible and so we did not take advantage of this free service. We tried to go into the pool area and the doors were locked even though it said that during certain hours it was unlocked and available. We decided it wasn't worth it and went back to our room. The rooms seemed very outdated. There was a note on the counter when we checked out that another customer had left that said "You need to hire a maid service and people that speak English!". Clearly I wasn't the only person to be disappointed with my stay.

Good enough for what we needed. This place will not wow you with anything, but if all you need is a place to stay for a night, it will do. Affordable and easy access from the interstate. The only thing that was a little annoying was the toilet make a screeching sound when it flushed, but that wasn't a big deal.

We entered the room and some of the power was off, so we had to call the office to have them turn on the electricity. There were windows to the rooms from the hallways that let light in all night long. There is a free breakfast, but it is very minimal. I will find a different hotel next time.

The Days Inn in Williamsburg, Iowa was a great deal for money, and cheaper than most other comparable hotels in the area. The room was spacious and clean, with a/c and heat. The vanity only had one sink, but was extra long so two people could comfortably get ready at the same time. There was a provided hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Everything seemed to be pretty new and in good working order. The hotel seems to have been an outdoor access motel in the past, but they've since added halls along the outer edges to enclose the rooms for a safer environment. One hall we walked through seemed to have a problem with the heat... in the middle of July, the heaters were blasting, and the hall was well over 100 degrees. Other tennants said that the rooms in that hall were still temperate, though. Only problem I encountered was the wireless internet dropping out during our second night. It was an inconvenience, but wasn't worth complaining about. I imagine it was only temporary... the first night the signal was very strong in my room and I had no problems. The pool was nice, and not too shallow. It went from about 3' to just under 5' deep. It was a little on the chilly side, though, and took several minutes to acclamate to. Overall - a very very nice hotel, for a reasonable price!
