Didn't feel safe, couldn't sleep because of smell of urine and cleaner in room, just awful.

Clean but aged hotel. Beds were not very comfortable, but sheets were clean. Breakfast was adequate.

Upon arrival sign at the front desk said pool closed for construction. The pool was a significant reason the hotel was selected. Desk attendant had no apology but said it was in their website - I checked when we reached the room and it was not on their home website or orbitz's either.

The Clarion had easy access, plenty of parking. We made it our home base and cruised in and out to our other destinations. Would stay there again.

Arrived at 3pm check-in time. Needed to be at a wedding in downtown Iowa City at 4:30pm. Upon arrival, found several groups waiting in the lobby area for their rooms to be readied. I was told room not ready, have a seat. I explained that we - 3 people - had to freshen up & change for the wedding. The male staff member could not tell me when the room would be ready. So I explained to him that I would remain in line until the room was ready. He became very agitated, threw a pencil on the desk & left the area. About 10 minutes later the desk phone rang & the female staff member answered, a conversation was held & upon its conclusion, I was checked-in. I don't know what prevented rooms from not being ready at 3 in the afternoon. I don't like to have to be so insistent that I get what I paid for, but it was obvious that sitting & waiting would not have got a room in time to arrive at the wedding on time. It's a shame that experience has soured me on this location - everything else was great - price, clean & comfortable room, quiet, parking lot lighting, bathroom / shower, breakfast & the contact I had with the rest of the staff was super.

The staff was very accommodating. Air conditioning was broken in first room, but they give us another and made sure everything was in good order. The room could use a face lift. Free breakfast was fine. Good value for the money.

Our room had hair on the bathroom floor and in shower. The carpet felt damp. When checking in the front desk was very unprofessional. Could Def use some updating

Attended conference at this hotel. Very good experience.

I arrived very late and had to leave early but room was nice and clean and bed was very comfy. Would stay again.

We prepaid for a room via an online booking site. When I checked in the front desk clerk even mentioned that it was prepaid and we put a credit card down for incidentals. However when I checked our bank statement the following week I realized that he had charged us for the room again. The charge was pending and will eventually come off, but meanwhile $76 was inaccessible from our account due to their error. It has been nearly a week and the money is still tied up. I called and the desk clerk admitted that the card has been charged accidentally. No offer was made to help compensate for inconvenience.

Decent hotel at an okay price. Full is nice and open late which the kids liked. Rim service from the restaurant was excellent.

My stay was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. Had a little trouble locating the hotel. Note very visible from the main road. Overall my stay was satisfactory.

I only stayed there one night for business, but the room was clean and the staff was really friendly...definitely not a destination hotel or anything, but was the best priced hotel I could find that was more than 2 stars!
