I understand that they are in the process of remodeling but the room was clean with outdated bathroom. Staff was great and very helpful.

Clean fresh paint close walk to food quite room close to hospital visit again.

I reserved four rooms, all handicap accessible. All rooms were warm and clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was bigger than most continental breakfasts. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed the Thursday and Friday evenings of Homecoming weekend. The staff was excellent and the hotel was great! They are remodeling, which will be a nice improvement. Rates were great and free breakfast is a plus. Ample free parking.

Nice breakfast and they even provide a dinner. The beds were never made up the 3 days we stayed there. We were close to the Hospitals.

We stayed at this same hotel one month ago and the renovations were ongoing at that time. For this weekend, their lobby is still being worked on. It does not appear that they are moving quickly enough. This could be a good little hotel but they are missing on too many details.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was undergoing some renovations and will be really nice when done. I was disappointed that the exercise room was closed during our stay.

The staff were very friendly and kind! One man gave us a brochure of the bike trails in the area only because we brought our bikes into the hotel. The staff were great! Unfortunately the hotel smelled musty, moldy and smokey. We had to wash all of our clothes that we brought solely because the smell caught on everything. Would have chosen not to stay there if we had another option at 11pm.

The desk staff was very friendly, but beyond that, we were there during the Wrestling Olympic Trials and there were apparently no rules as far as noise, hours in which party goers were allowed to hang out in the lobby area, or whether the children of the parties in the lobby could just run wild in the halls, or maybe wrestle in their rooms? The facilities were obviously under renovation, but we had no notice of that when reservations were made. For example, the elevator had no finished floor, which made you wonder right out of the gate with an inspection notice from 2 years previous, and no lock on the buttons within the elevator, so that each time someone entered, they invariably hit the one that would open the rear door to the laundry area, often making parents grab their children before they ran off into that area. As far as the room, maybe a King size bed in a room that would normally just be two Queens with a mini fridge is now considered a suite, but if not, don't bother here.

The staff was friendly when we checked in. The location was convenient to University of Iowa. The room was fine, but at $140 I would expect it to be much nicer. It should have cost about $80. I'm sure the price was inflated because of the football game. The towels were very thin and scratchy. We didn't have any breakfast, but it looked like they had pretty good choices.

The hotel was nice in general. Carpet was clean. Full cable TV. The caulking in the shower had peeled off revealing the black dew underneath. Parking was adequate. My neighbor rooms were occupied by a group of college kids who stayed up past midnight and made lots of noise: running and stumping in the hall laughing and talking very loud slamming doors as they went in and out. I called the front desk but they could not make the kids regarding other guests. In the second night it all repeated again. Continental breakfast was stocked with sauces, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, fruits, cereals, chowder, etc.

Took my girlfriend to visit her friend who attends the University of Iowa. The location was very close to the university, and an easy drive. Very cost friendly and great quality for its price. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here several times and will stay again. Love this place

Great location right off of I-80 and provides easy access to Coralville/Iowa City Area. Were in town visiting family so really just need a clean and comfortable place to sleep and this hotel delivered across the board. Had limited staff interaction but everyone we did deal with was friendly and professional. Room was clean, comfortable and appropriate for the rate charged. Will stay here again.

We stayed for the Iowa game and it was the perfect location. Friendly accommodating staff and a clean room...may not be kid friendly when there is a game.

An alright hotel. Very basic amenities. Not worth anything over 100$.

Check-in/check-out/breakfast staff were so friendly and personable. Quick check in and even quicker check out. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Would highly recommend!

ok for the price. although my room wasn't cleaned for 2 days.

I visited the hotel with my son while visiting the University of Iowa. Location is great and breakfast in AM is good. I checked in 10/13 late at night and was told that my dates for check in were incorrect, they had me booked for a date in November. The front desk clerk told me it was an easy fix and checked me in and told me he would call the third party on my behalf. About 15 minutes later the phone in my room rang, the clerk told me that the third party requested to speak with me about the change and that I need to call them, he provided me the number and I placed the call. I spent about 10 minutes on the phone with the third party and the representative called the front desk of the hotel and she told me everything had been cleared up. I then called the front desk to verify everything and the clerk told me he spoke with the third party and there was nothing else I needed to do. I checked out the next AM, the clerk took my key cards and checked me out without a word of any issues that needed to be resolved. After I arrived home I realized that I was charged by the hotel (on the credit card that I provided for incidentals). I placed a call to the hotel but the manager was not in and no one in a supervisory position was available. I then called the 3rd party explained my story to about 3 people, they then explained to me that they will contact the hotel and my charge will be reversed. Still days later and the charge was still there, so I called the hotel, again there was not a manager available. I then called the 3rd party and spoke with a representative that was so rude and condescending, it has made me rethink about my relationship with using the 3rd party in the future. I then asked to speak with a manager or someone above him, this representative then apologized and told me that she would take care of the problem. Days later I see that the charge still remains on my credit card. This time I called the hotel and spoke with a manager, she explained to me this a common problem with 3rd party payers and that the 3rd party was suppose to call back with a credit card number for payment and that was never done. She then assured me she would reverse the charge and contact the 3rd party. Days later and the charge was still there, so I called the hotel and spoke with the manager again she then said she couldn't understand why the charge was still there but she will contact the person that handles the credits and take care of it. Finally on 10/31 the credit was placed, but after many phone calls to the hotel and the 3rd party. The amount of time I spent on trying to rectify this was exhausting, it seems to me it would be an easy fix and not exactly sure why the communication between the hotel and the 3rd party was so poor.
