I have stayed here a number of times in the past 5-6 years. It is always a good value, a mix of upgrades and original equipment (e.g. shower controls), but it all works fine, especially for an overnight stop on a road trip. The room was clean, the HVAC worked. The towels were serviceable. There was no bar soap, only shampoo in a squeeze pack. I assume I could've asked for a bar of soap in the lobby but I was there for a quick overnight having arrived very late so I didn't bother. Note that there was no breakfast service, possibly because distancing would be impossible in the compact lobby/breakfast area. Knights Inn is my go-to in Cedar City.
Staff was wonderful- property is old & needs a facelift
Convenient and great place to sleep. We were tired.
Very nice staff, well-run, and some pleasant amenities such as microwave, refrigerator/freezer, continental breakfast, plenty of ice, etc. The low cost is a big plus and I'd definitely recommend this motel over the Super 8 and Motel 6 located in Cedar City. Good dining is close by at Centro Wood Fired Pizza and other city center restaurants nearby and it's off the freeway so it's also quiet. Excellent value!
It is old filthy, the beds were awful. Even the chain lock was broken.
The walls are a bit thin. Someone in the room had a small child that woke me up twice screaming. Other than that our stay was great!
Affordable and had all the amenities we needed. The kids really enjoyed playing in the small pool. The only thing I’d change is a protein for breakfast would be really nice. We filled up on waffles, cereal, and danishes.
Limited breakfast but the place is vry clean, domfortable wnd convenient. Would definitely stay here again
We arrived at 1:30 after riding over 6 hrs on the bike only to be told that if we want to check in early it would be $10 cash. Well it is not like we could just drive somewhere and hang out so we paid the $10. This is something that should have been stated in the hotel info. This was very annoying to say the least!!
Rooms had been upgraded since previous stay. Much more comfortable.
The bed was very comfortable but the heater noise interrupted our sleep. We could have used an extra blanket. The washing area & bathroom floors were extremely cold. It would have been nice to have had some tissue not just toilet paper.
Staff is very friendly and inviting. Direct TV was a big plus (HBO). Continental breakfast was, eh (waffles tatted funny). I would recommend just spending the money and going to IHOP or Dennys. Overall it was a good stay.
We have stayed at Knight's Inn for the past few years when we've come to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival. It was a good value compared to the other hotels nearby. This year, however, the price has gone up and the quality way down. The carpet in my room not only had big stains on it, but it also looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. There was dried food on the furniture and the sink and tub were dirty. The floor underneath the bathroom tile in my sister and brother-in-law's room was soft underneath and would squish when you stepped on it. It probably had mold underneath. There was also a dirty towel hanging up in their bathroom and an empty milk carton on the night stand when they arrived.
Comfortable room. Exactly what you pay for. No more or less.
the location is good, main street, room was nice enough, breakfast is simple but you won't be hungry, overall happy
A little pricey for what you get, the staff wasn't very professional. Tv remote was held together with duct tape
The hotel room was clean and the place was quiet, so that's good. We were here for the Shakespeare Festival and found it convenient and affordable. It is not, however, really within walking distance of the festival as they claim, especially if you have young children with you as I did. They advertised the pool but it's padlocked and not usable, which was a disappointment for the kids and I'd specifically chosen the hotel for the pool. The ice machine was broken, and the laundry/IDE room stank really badly. Mold, mildew, I'm not sure, but it was so bad I couldn't be in there. This was a drag because it was hot weather, too. It's one of the cheaper in town, but for 60 bucks I still expect them to have the amenities working. Staff is a little reserved, could be friendlier. Breakfast was good, the kids liked that. I'll go elsewhere next time, though, so the stay is in keeping with what's promised.
Fire alarm started "chirping" at 2:00am..........continental breakfast ....not much....but was clean room.
Not only was Cedar City a great little town with gorgeous views, the Knights Inn was perfect. Rooms were huge, very clean, the wi-fi was very fast (many places it is very slow since everyone's sharing bad width) and it was very quiet. Granted, that has more to do with who is staying in the rooms next to you, but I had a great experience. Wish they were all like this one!
