Knights Inn Cedar City

Staff is very friendly and inviting. Direct TV was a big plus (HBO). Continental breakfast was, eh (waffles tatted funny). I would recommend just spending the money and going to IHOP or Dennys. Overall it was a good stay.

We have stayed at Knight's Inn for the past few years when we've come to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival. It was a good value compared to the other hotels nearby. This year, however, the price has gone up and the quality way down. The carpet in my room not only had big stains on it, but it also looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. There was dried food on the furniture and the sink and tub were dirty. The floor underneath the bathroom tile in my sister and brother-in-law's room was soft underneath and would squish when you stepped on it. It probably had mold underneath. There was also a dirty towel hanging up in their bathroom and an empty milk carton on the night stand when they arrived.

Comfortable room. Exactly what you pay for. No more or less.

the location is good, main street, room was nice enough, breakfast is simple but you won't be hungry, overall happy

A little pricey for what you get, the staff wasn't very professional. Tv remote was held together with duct tape

The hotel room was clean and the place was quiet, so that's good. We were here for the Shakespeare Festival and found it convenient and affordable. It is not, however, really within walking distance of the festival as they claim, especially if you have young children with you as I did. They advertised the pool but it's padlocked and not usable, which was a disappointment for the kids and I'd specifically chosen the hotel for the pool. The ice machine was broken, and the laundry/IDE room stank really badly. Mold, mildew, I'm not sure, but it was so bad I couldn't be in there. This was a drag because it was hot weather, too. It's one of the cheaper in town, but for 60 bucks I still expect them to have the amenities working. Staff is a little reserved, could be friendlier. Breakfast was good, the kids liked that. I'll go elsewhere next time, though, so the stay is in keeping with what's promised.

Fire alarm started "chirping" at 2:00am..........continental breakfast ....not much....but was clean room.

Not only was Cedar City a great little town with gorgeous views, the Knights Inn was perfect. Rooms were huge, very clean, the wi-fi was very fast (many places it is very slow since everyone's sharing bad width) and it was very quiet. Granted, that has more to do with who is staying in the rooms next to you, but I had a great experience. Wish they were all like this one!

poor condition, needs a lot of updating. The staff were friendly, I will note the same guy checked us in at 5:00 in afternoon as checked us out at 9:00 in morning. Possibly family owned and operated.

Great place to stay on a over nighter or even a couple of nights at their rates. great location.

Basically a decent place to spend the night on a long road trip. The room was basically clean, didn't smell or anything like that. The light in the bathroom flickered, so some maintenance was needed. Because I paid <$50 including taxes, it was a decent deal.

The hotel was about an hour or so from Bryce Canyon, but it was the closest we could find with rooms. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and the efficiency of the staff. When I walked into the office and gave the clerk my name, he handed me my key and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. They were obviously ready for us. The facility was clean and well maintained. The coffee was good and the breakfast was good, for a continental fare, Would stay here again if in the area. A good value in a safe location.

You have to make sure you get there before 10:30 pm local time (UTAH). But once you get there, it was great! - The beds were good (we had 2 double beds). - The air conditioning was good. - The price was as good as you could expect. - Breakfast had fresh, hot waffles in addition to the normal continental breakfast. - The parking lot was just slurried, but it had a few uneven spots. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay in the middle of town near many restaurants and a grocery store.

We got lost and person on the telephone did not speak enough English to help us out. Did not know the outlying area well. According to another person the GPS in that area often sends the people to another Main Street. This should be addressed by the Knights Inn Staff and they should be able to direct us in.

To start, the motel is a bit dated; I was only in my room to sleep. Also, I'm in the habit of cleaning my room. The desk clerk was friendly enough. The individual hired to clean was great. Although, I cleaned before leaving for the day she would redo the beds and clean. A change of towels were given daily. The carpet could use some "for real" cleaning. There were holes in the tiles behind the tub faucets. (I pushed the faucet plates over them to keep water from getting in between the wall.) There was a very small pool--would probably allow four individuals comfortably. I only ate the free breakfast once. It consisted of miniature honey buns and muffins, waffle mixture, cinnamon raisin bagels, artificial wheat bread, jelly, syrup, cream cheese, butter, cereals, teas, coffee and 2% milk. Yes, I was looking for sausage and eggs for the grandson. I tend not to eat meats much, but he was satisfied with what was served. As for me and the grandson, we were running about visiting family. This place is fine if you just want to "crash" as well. It does depend on what you want to do and what you're looking for in a motel.

When booking the hotel I was looking fo something cheap that wouldn't be gross to stay at. Overall the performed thier duty. The sheets where clean so that was realy all I was looking for. This is no marriott but for the price it was really good.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, but at least no old hotel smells.

very clean, large room with small fridge, microwave, iron and coffe in room, breakfast included in price was just perfect also!!

Well, it was clean, no bugs! The room was decorated like an older hotel which it was. The bed linens were very thin and worn. For the price was OK, spent double the night before and that place wasn't any better. The shower head could not be adjusted which was somewhat difficult.

We chose this hotel for the value and were surprised at the amenities . The room was clean and comfortable. It even had a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was adequate and the staff was great. Will definitely go back
