Stayed her to visit family in the area. Well-kept facility, very nice lobby, good breakfast (better than expected). Room was somewhat on the small side, but functional and comfortable. Unfortunately, the climate control system is single-pipe, and was in heat mode due to the time of year, so the room was too warm at night - opening the window to cool the room wasn't feasible, as that would let in road noise. There's a gas station directly across the street. Very friendly staff. Good place, great location, excellent value (but note that this is not peak season for this area of Utah). All-in-all, we'd probably stay here again.

Good, clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, except that the hot meal was the same (buns and gravy) for the whole week that we stayed there.

Very good experience. Pet friendly. Very clean and quiet.

We had the smallest room available, and it was just right. Facilities well maintained. Free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast just what we expected. Staff at check-in/out congenial and helpful. We expected less - got more.

I had a pleasant, uneventful stay here. Staff were friendly, efficient, and competent. Breakfast was basic but decent. The location is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, which is a nice change of pace after a long day in the car. The mattress was a bit too firm for my taste, but otherwise the room was pleasant and spacious.

The El Rey is conveniently located close to SUU and down town restaurants. Staff have always been nice and very accommodating. Our most recent stay was in a single queen room with a great walk in shower. Will request this room for all our future stays.

Good value and comfort. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to the Shakespeare Festival. Bathroom is a little small, but everything was clean.

Everything is good but there was a bed smell in the bathroom. The smell come from shower curtain.

Nice big lobby & cute pool. Easy to find & check-in. Staff were very helpful when we had a problem with the A/C. We weren't prepared for indoor air temp fixed at 65 & blowing cold air, so night staff brought us a space heater. Restaurant next door very convenient & good. So nice to find a place with a good salad bar.

I'd say this was a nice hotel. The price was amazing and the room was perfect for one person. I wasn't in the hotel often, because I was having fun around the town, but when I was there, it was very pleasant. The hotel staff were considerate and willing to help me when I needed anything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends/family. The entire hotel felt very clean.

We chose this motel because of how close it was to the Shakespearean Festival. Fortunately, our room was in the back where it was quiet. It was an relaxing walk from the motel to a tree covered road and then the campus.

It was a simple room, but it fit our needs. It was clean. The staff was fantastic and friendly. The location is hard to beat, too.

Hotel was nice. It is recently remodeled. Free breakfast and wifi a plus. People are extremely friendly and helpful. Only negative. The indoor Jacuzzi has not been fixed for over a year.

Fine location for a one night stay with the kids while on the road. Had a second story room with one wall that was floor to ceiling windows. Love that era in architecture. Had your normal hotel breakfast with super friendly staff, smiling and chipper in the morning.

Location is perfect. Staff is friendly. Free breakfast is nice. Hotel is dated, but rooms have been remodeled. Only knock is shower had very low pressure.

Mainly, I was disappointed that I was assured that I'd have a mini-fridge and a microwave and none were in my room at the time of check in. I had to call and ask for a fridge which they did bring in. Room was nice enough otherwise, but there was construction going on.

Manager and staff went out of their way to be helpful with special requests. This will be my regular motel when in Cedar City, Utah

BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE- ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND NEWLY REMODELED- CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT

A small room with one chair. Wifi didn't work. Breakfast very basic. No fridge or microwave. Just a very basic room. Location was great to college and plays.

We were in town for the Shakespeare Festival, just a two-block walk. The complimentary breakfast was not extravagant but very well managed; I got the feeling the staff really wanted us to have an enjoyable stay. And we did.
