Awesome staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Cab rides to most locations were short. Would definitely stay again!

Air conditioner did not work... I happened to walk bare footed on their tiled floor (the bedroom was tiled)and my feet turned dark brown within few minutes. Room did not smell fresh. They need to clean better. There was a constant banging on the wall like somebody was constantly moving the furniture. Those people who worked at the front are excellent though. I will not stay again here...

I was here for a short stay. During my time the wifi was down which was irritating as I needed it for business while i was there. However the staff was pleasant, courteous and quick to respond. if it weren't for the wifi issue which they could not solve I would give the place a higher score.

Wonderful rooms, modern look, glass shower - romantic for happy couples.... helpful staff... wish they would come check room when they know you are checking out vs making you and your taxi wait until they have approved the room on departure... one shower leaked .. naturally reported to staff so could fix next day... one room curtain broken and not go up out of the way.... but these things can happen depending on who was in room previously. Love this hotel !

This was a decent hotel except for the noise. Hopefully someday they will put in some decent windows to allow sleeping for someone who needs relative quiet. Would stay there again if nose problem if noise is reduced, but otherwise will try somewhere else next time

only bad thing was my flight arrived @ 1239 am when got to hotel after 23 hours of travel hotel said I was late for check in and would have to wait until next day for room make long story short to get in a room that morning at 1 am had to pay $140.00 more dollars unfair I put on my check in I would be late so I didn't understand the problem all I wanted was room and hot shower so thanks for the ........

My family and I stayed here between February 7th and 14th 2013. I chose this mostly for it's location related to the airport and cost. As I say in the title. This hotel is a bit older and in need of some upgrades but what it might lack in 4-5 star comforts, it makes up for in customer service. The staff is FANTASTIC! Always cheerful, polite, and helpful. The breakfast (complimentary with our reservation) was very good (eggs to order, pancakes, local fruits, sausages, and Filipino items). The pool is very nice but a little older. There is poolside food and drink service. Contrary to another reviewer, we had no problem getting service, All of the staff we very attentive. We ate at the 50's cafe several times. Again, the staff was very attentive and polite. We were happily welcomed by the manager every night and never had to ask twice for anything. The menu is a bit limited but the food is very good with choices ranging from hot dogs and cheeseburgers, to steak, to Filipino cuisine (we sampled the bar-b-que and the pork and chicken adobo and bother were excellent). This hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport (about 10 minutes ride). I forwarded our flight information ahead of time and even though out arrival flight was over an hour delayed, the driver was there ready and waiting. It WAS a little loud as our rooms faced the street. If you have ever been to the Philippines you know that the jeepneys run 24/7 and many folks ride motor-cycles. The beds were VERY comfortable and the AC worked well in both our rooms. We had a very good experience hear and would / will stay here again.

It was a good experience for me. The staff was very professional, service was excellent.

Location is adequate. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of local shops (tin roof huts selling Filipino food, random hardware stores, a smattering of pharmacies/drug stores) and there are some shopping centres down the road. Take a cab from the front doors if you're nervous about walking about a foot away from dodgy traffic and lots of smog. Hotel staff is stellar as they are everywhere in the Philippines. Earnestly helpful. Breakfast buffet is served every morning from 6-10ish. Standard fare: fresh fruit, fried/garlic rice, pancakes, pork, vegetables, and they'll make you an omelette if you ask. The food is good and it'll get your day started. Real orange juice seems to be a task to get in the Philippines though. Rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable posturepedic mattresses. Air conditioning functions well and uses a remote control, which is handy for when you don't want to get out of bed. TV is decent and there are lots of channels. Balcony has a nice view of the city. Our room had a few tiny ants crawling around but then so do most places in Cebu. It didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay. Wifi is available in the lobby but not in the rooms.

simple and worked well for our needs to stay the night and catch another plan the next day..
