Property was fairly new and very close to the entertainment district. Facility was very clean and front desk staff were friendly. Room was decent sized with fridge and microwave. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We have stayed at this hotel about 5 times this year and every time except once that pool has been down. I think that they are having problems with it for the past 3 years, seems like.
Only stayed one night. It was quiet, and the location is good for going places. Front desk offered pools to us at other locations, but who wants to do that and come back wet.
Our Experience at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Burlington, Iowa was Very Pleasing! From the moment we walked into the Entrance Lobby and was greeted and checked in by Garrett to the time we checked out and expressed our sincere very pleasing experience with the general manager Chris and employee Garrett. Garrett impressed us from the very start. He was very professional and personable with a warm welcome as he checked us in. The next morning Garrett greeted us at the breakfast buffet and inquired about our first night's stay. At that point we thought that he (Garrett) must be the general manager as he continued to impress us with his natural leadership skills and abilities. Upon on checking out, we did get to met Chris, the general manager. All of Hotel Staff were Excellent as they acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything. The Hotel Facilities/Condition was Excellent. Our Room Cleanliness was Excellent. Our Room Comfort was Excellent. We Loved how comfortable the bed was.
Hotel was very clean, we stayed on a weekend night but thought it was a little expensive for all we got. nice time though.
I was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the facility. The staff was very friendly and the manager personally asked about our stay and if anything could be improved.
Everything was great, the only thing was checkout time was noon and the cleaning lady entered the room with us still there! Very nice room and amenities, all and all a good hotel!
