Even the resort is inland the surrounding is very calm, serene, view to the Etna, small villages with excellent food especially the pizzas. With a car we visited all the south east coast. Excellent breakfast and very good Bar.

This second time was far more expensive but I really enjoyed it more for three reasons: Brunch was at the golf restaurant and the food was well displayed and vegetables were fresh and tasty. The location under the tree and green slopes was just marvelous. I spent 27€ for three courses , glass of wine and bottled water. The SPA was 20€, but worth it because I was there all alone for 40 min. Bubbly and clean , I enjoyed every second. Thirdly, no groupon but first class massage by Alessia: 35€ for 40 min of relaxing yet vigorous , head to foot massage. 5 stars to you Alessia! Thank you!

This was a golf trip. Second time there and enjoyed it as much as the first. About an hour away by taxi from Catania airport. Very comfortable large rooms. Good choice at breakfast. Decent restaurant serving modern cuisine type food so not typical Italian. There's a restaurant worth trying at the golf course. The setting is quite unique with Etna overlooking the course. Golf course is quite challenging with many uphill/downhill lies, sharp dog legs and also blind toffs. Staff are very helpful and speak English. For an excellent pizza take a taxi to Antonio's in Linguaglossa. Hotel recommended it and we weren't disappointed.

Fantastic hotel and location. Peaceful and Relaxed environment. Beautiful surroundings at the foot of Mount Etna! One adverse note is that you cannot have tea and coffee making facilities in the room! However other than that Very Good

This resort is the ideal place where one can escape from the daily routine. The hotel is located next to the beautiful golf course of Il Picciolo. It offer well furnished and comfortable rooms, a rich breakfast, the staff is very welcoming, professional and helpful. The restaurant is opened only for breakfast and dinners and for lunch there is the restaurant at the golf club house. A very beautiful place in s very beautiful region.

Despite a beautiful spot, the hotel is old dated and needs a management. People are too slow and not responding to customers demands. There was a problem with the bath tub and was never fixed such as lights in the room. Dinner is horrible and frozen. Breakfast is ok but nothing particular. Service is extremely slow. Such a shame this hotel could be really better.

i was in this hotel last year 2016 very pretty nature near the hotel big Swimming Pool Nice food but could be better ,clean rooms very Quiet and a great place for golf lovers Spa bit expensive, There is an impressive view of the volcano

The place is nice but not exceptional. Staff are pleasant and helpful, especially the golf instructor. Rooms are clean and spacious but could do with some refurbishing. Breakfast and dinner are rather basic though.

This hotel has a golf course next to it, that provides a beautiful view to the Etna volcano. Fast wifi and helpful staff, great also for business events and weddings. The standard breakfast is not that great, but for business events they have really nice assortment of both breakfast and lunch with hot and cold dishes. Also great local wines available for dinner and daily variety of menu. The maintenance status of the building was disappointing, leakage here and there, damaged paint, etc. but you see this everywhere on Sicily. Holes in the towels and super thin toilet paper I could not appreciate either. The carpet has a certain smell everywhere, didn't like it. We were here in the winter and everywhere in the building it was rather cold, especially in the smaller restaurant and toilets, so glad I brought my vests and gloves! Fast elevators. Spacious rooms but bit old-fashioned American decor. It takes about 1 hour to go from this resort to the wonderful village of Taormina. Opening hours spa (10:00-19:00) insufficient for business guests. Explanation of light system upon arrival would have been appreciated. Strange paintings everywhere, bit erotic but not attractive. The hotel allows dogs, which I love but not everyone may like.

We traveled by car in Sicily and hotel's location was good for it. We didn't use any spa or resort facilities. The room was ok, but the sound from the next rooms was very annoying. We asked to replace our room because of baby crying during all nights next to it, but the front desk didn't bother to do it and was very unfriendly. Beside of it, nice hotel, average food, very beautiful location.
