I’m writing to specially thank outstanding employees of Hotel Relax in Casablanca: - The Director Mr.Chouaib who is very professional, courteous, humble, helpful, actively involved in breakfast services..I was so amazed & touched to see him bringing plates & helping customers with their needs & helping servers to pick up plates after customers finish eating. That’s was the first time I see a Director helping his servers staff in such a humble manner. Mr. Chouaib has a smile thanking his customers for coming which is very inspiring & he is very compassionate also.. - The General Director is also very professional, courteous, & humble greating his customers with a smile.. - I would like to also thank Mr. Diallo who is also very professional, courteous, sociable, helpful, active in all areas within the hotel. We went to this trip to my country of origin (as I’m a US Citizen now) due to the fact that my paternal uncle passed away & my son & I had a great experience at Relax Hotel. The leaders and staff members are very nice & compassionate.. This hotel accommodates the disabled population as I saw a staff member pushing a woman in a wheelchair all the way to the dining room for her lunch & she was served which is very touching & inspiring. Furthermore, there is an agent who opens the door to incoming & outgoing customers & presses the elevators button for customers also. All those great services encourages us to come back next time.. Thank you so very much for that great experience, we really appreciate it so much!!!
So, it's 1ºC in Casablanca right now. And my room doesn't have heating. I was forced to work in the room wrapped up in a blanket because it's chilly in here. I complained about it at the reception, but the staff didn't give one single sh*t. Besides, the restaurant is truly horrible. So, if you can choose, don't waste your money coming to this place.
Moroccan airline provided this "hotel" during my 12 hours layover from IAD to Banjul Gambia. This place shouldnt even be called a hostel. The room had no towels, the "food" buffet style was tasteless and of abysmal quality. The water provided was not drinkable and a bottle of Coke costs $4 at the bar.
Please try to stay away as much as possible, the rooms looked like you were in a sleazy motel and there was a dead hooker under the mattress, and they turn off your electricity at 8am, even if you checkout at 12pm. The breakfast buffet was scary. I do not recommend anybody to stay here.
The hotel was provided to us by our airline, Royal Air Maroc, during our connection in Casablanca. The rooms had a good size for two people, but they were extremely dusty (as a person who suffers from rhynitis, it was a terrible experience) and did not have towels available for us. We requested them and took a shower, and after we came back from the city, our towels were gone and there weren’t any new ones. The showers were also really cold and the food at the restaurant was terrible, there were very few options. The only good thing was the wifi, that worked well.
a good option to relax between flights with prompt free bus shuttle service after every half hour or even less. There is nothing near to the hotel so you have to avail the facilities within the hotel which were pretty good for short stay or a night stay. good clean hotel with all the required facilities. busy at the reception but good value for money specially due to free shuttle service which saves a lot for a short stay.
I have been here many times, and every time I get dissapointed. I will never go there again. The quality is one of the worst I have been through and my daughter got really sick for two days from the old milk they served for breakfast. The food is terrible and the restaurant is more like a 1 star facility. The only positive was the reception and service from the receptionists, but the restaurants was so bad that they are considered being hazardous.. How can the manager not see this problem with the food and restaurant? How can the manager want this to continue? I don't understand..
As other people have noted, totally lacking in amenities and professionalism. Room was hot, but no AC. Open the window and you hear dogs barking at night. Putting the interior lock in position does nothing. In the morning a maid entered, as well as another guest who had been given a key by mistake. A single woman would find this extremely troubling. No safety chain or peephole. Not safe. Front desk oblivious to this issue. And no indication how to call the front desk.
receptionist are not friendly. the porter was nice though. The only good thing about this hotel is the free shuttle to the airport. It is running every 30 mins. food in the restaurant tastes like carton. just try to eat somewhere before checkin in. If your flight the next morning isnt at 7am, might as well stay in Casablanca City.
