Hotel seemed okay, but somewhat rundown. The problem started when I tried to go to bed. It was windy outside and something on the roof above me started banging around. I managed to sleep for an hour or so, but was awoken with a very loud bang. It was the same thing on the roof, maybe something of metal, but it sounded like people were jumping around above me the rest of the night. The night person said nothing could be done, and didn't really seem all that interested. I got less than 4 hours sleep and had a full day of driving solo ahead. At 8am the girl at the desk said she could give me no help after I explained that I came only to sleep and that sleep was ruined. She agreed to have the manager who didn't come in until 10am call my cell. No one from the hotel ever called me. This place could care less about it's customers. If you have a chance stay somewhere else, as I guarantee whatever is banging around on their roof has been going on for a long time, and they choose not to deal with it.

This hotel was definitely above average when it comes to being pet friendly. I’ve stayed in a few others that were not as nice. They do not charge a fee for the pets either which was nice. The rooms was decently clean, as to be expected for a hotel in this price range. Some damage to carpet and walls but not a deal breaker in any way. The complimentary breakfast was quite good also. This hotel was a very reasonable and comfortable stay for one night.

We stay at a lot of LaQuinta's since we have a small dog. This is an above average LaQuinta. Very clean, quite nice, good dog walk area. Very nice staff. Good wifi and a/c-heat. Typical breakfast menu -- nothing extravagant. We'd stay here again.

Take a look at pictures...dust in bathroom vent has CHUNKS of dust, wall next to full bed is REALLY dirty, ceiling has had water damage that looks like it still does, wall above wastebasket is dirty and finally one sheet has some kind of stain.

We reserved a king room with whirlpool (room 124) and from the moment we arrived, we started wondering if we chose wisely. Long story short, we chose poorly! We have stayed at many La Quinta Inns in the past (gold members) but this one was by far the worst we have seen and will be one we will NEVER forget! If it isn't already on the top of the list for a major renovation, it should be. From the resident stink bugs in the bathroom vent (which also was utterly dirty and disgusting) that quickly met their demise in the bathroom toilet, to the bed looking like someone had recently taken a nap (or worse) on top of the bedspread that covered a woefully hard mattress, to the dirty mirror in the bathroom, to the fact that the outside entry door at the end of the hall on our end of the hotel looked like someone had recently strong armed the lock and broke it so it wouldn't lock/latch to finding out once checked in and in our room, that not only were we expecting lower 30 degree temps that night, but the heat was out in the entire hotel!!! Really??? Did they think we wouldn't notice??? It didn't occur to them to advise us of this little issue BEFORE WE CHECKED IN???? Or maybe before we even arrived??? We immediately packed up and drove another 30 miles up the road to a different La Quinta and were met with a La Quinta that simply "measures up" to what we usually see when staying at this chain's hotels. But as for us and this particular hotel, to the facilities, to the staff, to the total disregard for us as customers being able to have a PLEASURABLE stay, this La Quinta will NEVER see us again and it if there was an option of negative stars, this La Quinta earns it. Do yourself a favor and stay at the La Quinta in Calhoun, Georgia which is 30 miles north. You will be glad you did!!!

Vicious pit bull should not be allowed in the hotel; coming out the elevator, pit bull was barking and snipping teeth at me. The bathroom and carpet needs to be improved; the room had an odor and support person is needed in the breakfast area.

We really appreciate the dog friendly La Quinta. We stay at your chain whenever we travel. Good quality for the price. Appreciated dog area. The pool could use a face lift, not inviting. Breakfast was fine, enough choices.

Stopped in for one-night and Lori Ann on the desk made it happen. Friendly and Welcoming. Hotel clean but due for renovations as I'm told will be happening. We will be back that way and will stay again Thank you

The front desk staff was very nice and professional. The room was in terrible condition. Several repairs and updates are needed. The people next to me had problems with their door and had to repeatedly slam it shut. My door had a wide gap from mid to floor. Couch was stained and had holes. Several cracks in walls. Lampshades were broken. At least the bed and bathroom were clean.

Price does not meet quality! I will say very pet friendly which is a plus. Too much to type, but the person at front desk would not let fiancé back in room because of some kind of her confusion. After I was woken up and showed my reservation she was let back in the room. Management never called me back... I had to follow up. Place is not very clean, but we always stayed here because dog friendly and prior to new owner/management it was much better and price was better for the quality you get.
