We went with a group of 15 including 6 children ages 3-13. They were beyond helpful! The hotel is in the middle of "hostel row" as I like to call it. This means lots of Spanish speaking, variety of tourists (not many), lots of real community and culture, and walking to everything is relatively easy. Extremely affordable, air conditioned, fans on each room, bathroom with cool water only, wonderfully friendly staff, breakfast is cooked fresh each day on the roof, and if you need pool access they have two other hotels with pools: one roof top and one ground level (see photos). Lots of places to eat nearby or get fresh fruit/water. I slept very well. They learned our names and greeted and chatted with us all the time. I loved it and would stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Cartagena, nice quiet location but only about 5 mins walk away from historic centre and main attractions of Cartagena. Room was comfortable and quiet with small balcony overlooking the street. No hot water in the shower but you will be glad of a cool shower in the Cartagena heat!! Air con and a ceiling fan were both very welcome! Lots of lounge spaces and 2 separate roof terraces. Good breakfast options served up on the top floor. Staff were really friendly and helpful, only downside was that you could hear everything from neighbouring rooms bathrooms but this seemed to be a feature in lots of Colombian hotels and hostels! Would stay here again.

Clean and spacious rooms. Walking distance to about everything of interest in Cartagena. View of the Fort from the rooftop with pool. Breakfast is also taken at the rooftop and is ok but quite sparse. Crawling distance from the world-famous Cartagena institution Café Havana. Don't miss it! Staff is very helpful and speak good English. One interesting thing though. During our late-night-out (stayed 3 nights) the staff must have switched some of the furniture. In the morning we noticed that there was a big piece of standing-mirror in one part of the room that hadn't been there when we left early in the evening before. Surprise for sure! - Good prank ;) and probably the only time ever I've encountered humor of that kind in a hotel. +

I found the hotel to very welcoming and helpful. They did a lovely job caring for me as a solo female traveler. It's also a lovely escape from the heat and business of Cartagena. A good price considering it's location. Make sure you check out the rest of beautiful Getsemaní.

we stayed in a double room with a balcony (and after a lot of talking) with a window onto a patio. Rooms are dark, and gloomy. No frills - dark wood furniture. Bed was OK, but airco and/or fan where loud. I travel a lot and most of the time I'm very happy with my hotel rooms - here stayed as long as possible outside. Roofterrace is also no fun at all. Barren - only 'good'. to eat the included breakfast. We booked for two days and after that switched to a much nicer place for the samen price - samen neighbourhood but much nicer street and view. Would not recommend this place although score's here (and on are quite good). Wifi didn't work only every now and then, after they reset the router!

Away from the traffic and noise of busy street of Getsameni, not to far from the center. The room is wide with a balcony, 2 outlets for recharge, aircon and tv but there is no hot water for those who can live without it be advise. there is a roof top for breakfast. a fair price considering the time of year

It is well situated and a very good price. Staff helpful and friendly. You are also able to use the sister hotel which has a pool. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace which was lovely. The area it is in Getsemani is fascinating and Trinidad plaza is a very popular place to hang out or sit with a drink and watch the world go by.

Central location with a 10 minute walk to the colonial part of the town along some interesting streets. Hotel and rooms/ linen are looking tired and drab. Reception area / desk needs a good tidy and clean up which is your first impression of the place. Room was reasonable size, however, bathroom small and only cold water for shower/handbasin. Staff friendly and helpful. Suggest also more attention to security at the front door too especially during the day. Breakfast on the rooftop was pleasant with choice between eggs, toast, tropical fruits, etc.

We stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas and was really great! Super central location and just off the Main Street where all the parties (and noise) is. Would definitely recommend this place and would come back to it.

Outdated room and bathroom with stains on the walls. Not giving a fresh outlook which imporant to me. Very stingy bathroom amenities. The place needs some refurbishments. On the main road with loads of traffic. I had a MASSIVE argument with the reception and the hotel director. They also refused to speak ENGLISH. They has denied entry to a friend of mine on the pretext that another friend of mine visited me on the previous day (30 minutes) I had booked for 2 persons and slept alone. We wanted to go enjoy the swimming pool. I felt some HUMILIATED and made a big case. I have traveled all over the world and in much more conservative countries. It is the first time that I experience that. I suspect her to be HOMOPHOBIC. Again narrow minded biggots who wants to spoil others people's lives. At the end, she said I could bring someone in if paying extra ( althoug I already paid for 2!!. It does not mae sense) but she would not grant me that right. I told her she should rather run a CHURCH than an hotel. # MORALITY POLICE. The only person able to check who I slept with was my mother when I was 17. I'm 37! To all FELLOW LGBT's and STRAIGHT FRIENDS please do not book this place by SOLIDARITY. This people should go OUT OF BUSINESS.
