When I book my order I specified that I would be driving for hours and would be registering in the wee hours, when I get to the hotel the lady behind the counter was very unprofessional didn't know how to use the telephone and that I would be charged an additional $25 to register early. I canceled my reservation at them at that time.

Nice welcome from staff. Hard bed and noisy at 2 a.m.

There's a sign in front saying, "Newly remodeled." Really? In 1983? No sound privacy: could hear guests in next room talking all night and on the other side, snoring. I'm not kidding. Get a room far away from others.

We have stayed here numerous times and highly recommend it for it's location and privacy. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and have great lighting in the bathroom. The manager and staff are courteous and friendly and really care about the clientele.

I stay at here a lot. This is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed. Recommended by me

If David was below the standards of most, but it was satisfactory. The staff was excellent, the morning breakfast was simple but just fine. The room facility was pretty worn, with repaired cuts in the carpet and I need for paint. I would stay here again but only because it's attractively priced.

referral to mexican food late and nice clean room. bad back and bed was comfy

Very friendly staff. Everything was nice and clean. Continental breakfast was perfect. overall very satisfied

Room was clean and quiet. We were in the area for a family members celebration of life, but did take some time for a little shopping and to visit the museum. The location was perfect for access to everything that we wanted to do. If we ever have need to stay in the Reno/Carson City area again it will definitely be at this motel in Carson City. The drive to and from Reno is worth it.

The hotel was a great bargain as a gateway to the Tahoe basin. It's not really close to anything in Carson City, though. It's substantially north of the historic / touristic area. The room was fine: clean, comfortable, quiet. Yogi, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. He made the visit notable with his positive, happy attitude.

Was close to where I needed to be and was quiet and comfortable, would stay there again

On checking in, the owner asked that we pay from our credit card. We advised we had booked and paid with A third party company. He then confirmed he had the booking. On allegedly checking his system, the owner said he did not have the correct credit card details from the booking and asked us to pay again. I produced the e-mail confirmation and showed him this, together with the credit card I booked with. He then said immediately he had made a mistake and had been looking at another booking on his system. I later asked his wife if anyone else of my name was in the hotel. The answer was no. It may have been a genuine mistake, but I have my reservations that this was the case.

Hotel has sign outfront "newly renovated". the rooms have not been touched. In walking from the shower into the room to dress, the bottoms of my feet were black. I am a fairly easy going person and frankly, this room was poor at best. Beds uncomfortable and old and the floors just turned my stomach, especially when my child asks "what's on your feet mom?" Plumbing is not good, toilets need extra help to flush... would not recommend this hotel for a stay.

Fit our needs. Good location. Nice amenities including small refrigerator and microwave and a nice continental breakfast.

The room is comfortable and clean, but the breakfast is just ok.

the room at first glance very typical for a Days Inn. Noticed the carpet had big stain on the floor at the end of the bed. Took my shoes off and after walking around barefoot i noticed that my feet were extremely filthy from the carpet. I ended up washing my feet and put shoes on for the rest of my stay there. I also noticed that there was dog hair on the comforter that i had to deal with. better cleaning would be recommended. Also I would have liked to have more than just 2 towels of each size. Check in was fine, check out was fine.

I stay here for work and it is very convenient for that. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very nice.

Nice stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Rooms were quiet. Staff in the lobby were friendly. AC worked great. Felt safe in area where hotel was located. Continental breakfast was not a continental breakfast. Was very dissapointed in this. They offered coffee and pre packaged pastries that you find in a convenience store. They did however offer coupons for discounted price for meal at the local Dennys which had very friendly staff and decent food.

Carpet FILTHY and torn. Sink faucet not working properly. Sink stopper removed. Cigarette burn in sink. Mattress was like a stack of cardboard. Front desk attendant could barely speak or understand English and and could not give directions TO the hotel. If it had not been 1:00 AM at check in I would have left without question. Double ICK! TOTALLY GROSS!

At check-in I made it clear I had 2 dogs with me, but the clerk said nothing about them. Upon check-out another clerk said I was supposed to pay an additional fee and treated me like I did something wrong. When I pointed out where I checked the box saying I had pets, she shut her trap. They need to get their chit together at check-in.
