we stayed at extended stay carnegie for a week while our townhome was being finished. Overall the stay was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing that I had a complaint about was the tub. When I went to give my daughter a bath, the tub had hair in it still from the previous guest. I went to the front desk and told the employee and he was quick to ask if we wanted to change rooms or him to come clean it. Which I found nice. Since we had two small children and everything already out I declined being moved and just asked if I could have cleaning supplies to clean it myself. The employee asked several times if he could come do it for me. Breakfast was nothing special. Quick coffee, snack bar, muffin and oatmeal.

Typical extended stay. Location was convenient. Arrived very late but had called to confirm late arrival but onsite checkin took a bit as front desk clerk did not return for several minutes. Had to have keys rekeyed several times as they quit working on outside doors and on room door. Also during my visit the hotel ran out of toilet paper and did not receive a shipment for over a day! Other visitors had put garbage at the outside garbage can by door but did not fit in can so laid beside for several days and was still there when I left

I was supposed to have a queen and pull out sofa and these was no sofa in the room. My boy had to sleep on the floor.

Lame breakfast, sticky room. Even gave us the wrong reservation.

Hotel was in a great location as it was minutes from Heinz Fied. However, the hotel lacked pretty much all amenities you are looking for in a hotel. I guess you get what you pay for right? Would not stay for more than 1 night again.

The hotel stay was comfortable. The room was fine. There were no breakfast items left when I went down at 7:20 in the morning - get there early if you want free continental breakfast.

The room had an odor of cigarette smoke wafting in from adjacent rooms.

I went there for a weekend getaway to see Pittsburgh. It was a great value and the stove top and fridge was a very convenient amenity.

Kitchen was an added bonus! Staff was very helpful with directions!

Hotel is expensive and not ideal for few days stay, no amenities, grab and go breakfast is one per person ( for ex; one cereal bar or fruit or muffin etc) felt like a motel

Good property for travelers - I got to the hotel very late at night and the front desk staff was helpful, friendly, and took care of my needs very quickly. Only thing: a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the area. I needed to use my GPS to find it because I became a little lost. Great otherwise!

We asked for a non smoking room and there was a sign in our room that said it was non smoking however the smoke odor was very strong . We went to the desk and they said they had a different room for one of the nights but not both nights and we decided not to go back and forth. So they gave us a bottle of fabreeze to spray in the room. That's what I say. When my wife went to bed a black bug the size of a lady bug cralled on her. When she jumped out of bed she saw a larger bug like a thousand leg bug on the floor. She killed both and they said they would have the room sprayed. For all of this, they compted us one day.

The front desk staff was not rude. The bed was hard. Bugs were in the hallway (stink bugs). A dead stink bug was in my room.

The hotel is quiet and close to the highway exit. The room space is large for a family. The hotel offer free simple breakfast and free WiFi. The room service is once a week. You can ask a replacement of towels at the desk. I found some bugs in the room unfortunately.

The remodel has changed the outlook of the rundown hotel that this place once was. Nice upgrades and very professional staff.

i'm usually not a complainer but here goes: 1. check in was at 3pm, we arrived around 4-4:15pm. our room wasn't ready until 4:45pm... 1 hour and 45 minutes after our check in time. 2. we requested a non smoking room due to allergies... it was not accommodated. slept horribly, had sore throat, itchy eyes due to the smoke in the hallway. 3. our fire alarm was hanging by some wires from the ceiling and one morning even went off (there was no fire...). upon calling the front desk nobody could hear me and hung up the phone. so apparently along with the fire alarm, the phone didn't work either. 4. half of the lights in the room wouldn't turn on. i would only recommend this hotel if you're desperate.

came down for steelers game, just needed a place to sleep. this place was perfect for me.

We were there on business ,the location was great it was just 30 min, from down town Pittsburgh and right off from 376 so it was easy to get around. We also liked that if we wanted to cook we could .We wish the motel could of had a little more information on places to go out to eat . over all it was great for what we needed.

Close to Downtown Pittsburgh. Clean, new and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Quick check-in and out.

We appreciate you being a loyal guest with our brand and thanks for choosing to stay with us on your trip to the area. We are glad your overall visit was a pleasant one, except for the few issues you encountered while here. Although we make every effort to be perfect, sometimes we fall short. Thank you for pointing this out, as it will help us isolate our shortcomings. We hope you will consider the instances as isolated and choose us again. Sincerely, General Manager
