Room and view were very good! We had trouble with the double (French) doors. They have overly elaborate instructions on how to lock them that took us many tries to accomplish.

We have stayed in Santa Cruz for years after living there for over 15 yrs. Our previous motel was alright until last year when it wasn't. I search for another place for this year's visit and found Beach Street Inn. I wish we'd found this place years ago. It was a lovely bit of Santa Cruz heaven.
