Overall 4: I rented 2 of the 3 bedroom suites. Each of the 3 room in the suite contain a king bed or 2 twin beds put together. Hotel location and grounds 4: The hotel is a block down from long street which has a lot of bars and food places. It’s right in the heart of Cape Town central which makes it real easy to get around. The hotel lobby and dinning area is extremely clean, neat, and well decorated. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because the lobby was a little small and the elevator system was very in convenient. The elevators are designed so that one elevator will only take you to the higher floors and one only take you to the lower floor. Usually this would make sense if each of the elevators had their own buttons, which they did not. Hotel staff and service 4.5: The hotel staff was excellent. They responded to our calls and requested immediately and promptly. They were very friendly and everyone always had a smile on their face. The only issue I had was the fact that the a/c wasn’t working in one of the rooms but they fixed it after the 1st night. Some of the rooms have better views that others and some have a washer and dryer. Cleanliness/condition of rooms 5: Rooms were extremely clean and spacious. It was like staying at a 2 floor apartment with a huge terrace and a view of Lions Head and table mountain in the background. Food 5: The included breakfast was amazing. Everything from the eggs, fresh fruit, waffles and coffee was delicious.

We chose the Pepper club for the location and the added convince of the kitchenette. We booked a deluxe studio however we we put in a two bedroom room. The space was great, the breakfast included was a plus with so many choices. The pool/gym and spa area was beautiful. The only regret was the noise comming from Long street in the evening. The staff was excellent, helpful and kind.

My husband and I stayed in the 1 bedroom deluxe suite, and it's actually a two-floor apartment! The balcony (which is actually really a terrace) has amazing views of the city. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, with Long Street just around the corner where restaurants, clubs, and shopping (from clothes to curios and souvenirs) are all in walking distance. The hotel bar lounge is super swanky. There was so much to see and do in Cape Town that we didn't get to take advantage of the spa or gym, but they looked really nice when we did go to check it out. The gym also has an amazing view of Table Mountain as you run the treadmill. Overall, this hotel is awesome!

The airport pickup was arranged and never showed up. The cancellation was a disaster as well. A the end of the stay we were charged anyways even though we did not even stay in the hotel. It was a complete disaster from start to finish. For a refund I had to call my credit card company to do a chargeback, because the staff just blamed Orbitz and Orbitz pushed it on the hotel and vice versa. Traveling with my baby daughter and arriving at a foreign airport without any form of transport but a lot of luggage was just not the way we imagined a 5 start rated property to treat their guests. I would not recommend this a friend.
