I was worried from the moment I pulled into the place and saw the garbage piling up out front. There was garbage everywhere. With "no refund" reservations we had to proceed with the rental. The pool water was green. The rooms were terrible and displayed a total lack of maintenance (paint peeling etc.). Upon walking into our room for the first time we noticed that while the beds were made, there was sand completely covering our tub and there was still garbage in our garbage cans. On the first morning of our stay multiple Wildwood code officials showed up and closed the place down due to non-functioning fire alarms. The officials placed red "Notice" signs at various locations on the building. We had to pack our bags and go to a different hotel. One thing for sure, we won't be forgetting this trip anytime soon.

There was only a bottom sheet and a comforter...when I asked for a top sheet the staff was rude to me and insulting. I paid 220 a night for this...the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

This has been the absolute worst experience I ever had at a hotel/motel the owner was very rude we walked in he didn't speak I spoke to him and all he had to say was how can I help you. Then we get our nasty rooms and it only got worse the rooms has ants all over the beds were brown and there was old room up carpets behind the beds. The owner did nothing to make our stay better,we finally went down to take to him and he put us out after we called and complained about him I would never ever stay there again!

We had stayed there before and were willing to sacrifice upscale class for a less expensive room. Although hotel accommodations were in dire need of renovation we could deal with that but feel it could have been cleaner... Same hairpin in corner of bathroom throughout stay and dirt along edges. AC was good H2O pressure good

No me gusto estar en ese hotel no saben atender a las personas

Conveniently located close to the beach, not the greatest place to stay but for the price it is ok.

Hotel room was neat and clean but dated. The bathroom fixtures were old in style and showed signs of wear. Parking was onsite but required some cars to be parked in with the second car leaving their keys so the car could be moved. Ok for spending entire trip at wildwood. Awkward if leaving town on day trip. Staff was helpful. I would stay there again.

The room was okay, not as comfortable as we thought, everything needs improvement n update the room. No wifi connection if your apt is far end with no open air n the windows need update too. But the price is good, only one staff manage, friendly, and it close to the boardwalk.

Room was small, no telephone(mgr. tried to say due to hurricane Sandy), floor dirty, only one set of towels, no coffee maker as stated on website, could not use pool as it was green with algae and room had no kitchenette as stated on website. Subject does not have much choice on short notice so will try to reserve room ease where earlier.

It's a basic motel with nothing special. But it's very close to the boardwalk and at under $100/night was cheaper than anything else around. The room was fine, the beds fine, the shower had plenty of hot water and the ac worked. The only problem I had was I could not get their wifi to work. Nothing fancy, but for the price I would stay there again.

I was a little wary of staying here after reading some of the reviews, but since we booked last minute for Roar to the Shore, I decided to take the chance. We had no problems with checking in, and the owner actually was very helpful in giving us an apartment since we had a friend who made the trip last minute and needed a place to stay. He gave us a great deal to upgrade, though asked us to pay the difference in cash. As expected of a motel, this is no 5 star place. Our room though, a two bedroom "apartment" was small and outdated, but very clean. The microwave and TV were ancient but worked great, and there was a full sized stove and refrigerator which was useful. Each room was small but beds were comfortable. the AC units were AMAZING, kept our rooms nice and chilly on a very hot weekend. One small complaint was that an apartment that fits 6 people (couch is a pull out) they only give you one key, which can be inconvenient when not everyone sticks together 24/7. We only got a quick glimpse of the pool, but it seemed outdated and slightly green. We didn't have any intention of going in a pool, but this was definitely in need of some serious care The location of the hotel is fantastic. Just two short blocks away from the main part of the boardwalk and beach. It was great to be so close and not have to worry. There is also a Rite Aid right across the street which was super convenient. As I said, we had a great, clean room on a busy weekend. However, while we were there we witnessed a family who complained to the manager about their room having bed bugs (on the other side of the hotel thank god). We thoroughly checked our rooms and saw none, but its definitely something to note. Unfortunately, hotels can not always control how these things spread, but the owner refused to refund them any money and from what we heard later, the cops had to become involved. Also, on the Sunday before we left, a very disgruntled worker who was cleaning up the upper patio was cursing and complaining about the mess he had to clean up (which in my opinion, was extremely minimal... a pizza box here, a can there, some chairs to rearrange). He made no effort to keep his tone or voice down in front of us, making for a very awkward encounter. He even went as far to make some racial slurs to two asian workers who were coming in to work while he was cleaning up. Overall, I would say that if you are in a serious bind, this place is a pretty good stay for the price. Just make sure to check your rooms!

This hotel is quite nice, actually. Plenty of hot water and water pressure, large rooms, nice balcony furniture and REALLY nice, brand new pillow pads on the pool chairs. We have been staying here for yrs, and will continue! Thank you for a lovely time to the staff

Great for the price! Perfect location and staff is very nice. Nice and clean also!

Had a great time at very close boardwalk and amusement piers. Cool balcony/hallway that had seating to view the street below. Pool was nice too.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sea Foam motel. I read some of the reviews before booking and some I felt were harsh. I mean, you are staying in Wildwood which is known for it's retro 50's motels. Yes the bathroom tile was pink and the bed spreads are dated but that to me was charm and brought back childhood memories. The place was clean and that's always at the top of the list for me. If you want luxury you'll pay double or triple the price. The place is two blocks from the boardwalk and beach and there is a Rite Aid on the corner, talk about convenient especially with little ones you can't beat that.. Just remember that because a place is updated and modern it doesn't mean your experience is any better, it's the people you spend it with that create the best memories.

We travel a lot for kids sports and leisure and this was the worst room I have ever stayed in anywhere! It was barely clean. the hot water was so hot in the am I could barely shower and couldn't allow my child too. The toilet was practically coming off the floor and their were some ants. Not that Wildwood has many reasonable great amenities but we usually stay at the Nantucket if we are there for a quick night (sports not vaca), I just didn't book early enough....much better motel.

The room looked like someone's grandma's house where nothing has been updated in 50 years. The bathroom was particularly gross & needed major renovations. The only positives- the sheets and comforter appeared to be clean, the TV had plenty of channels & the floor was tile so at least it wasn't a disgusting rug. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. The manager was nice.

can't complain, awesome location, only 3 min to the boardwalk, fast wifi, and work n travel girls provide good cleaing service, perhaps some people can complain about the narrow parking, but i dont have suv nor van so for me was ok. and i wish the price had been lower, wildwood is getting more expensive every year

The staff was very friendly. It is a perfect distance if you want easy access to the boardwalk and beach but want to get away from the noise at night. The room was certainly nothing special as I expected. The bathroom was pretty terrible. The mold covered shower curtain, the not quite functioning handle and the fact that every time we used the shower the water leaked out and covered the tile floor from in front of the tub to the tile floor out in the room was seriously annoying. I'm guessing that's why all carpet was replaced with tiles. The sink was broken too but they taped it back together. The parking is terrible but it always is in Wildwood.

There was mold in the shower and throughout the bathroom. The room was not clean. Blankets were stained. The pool was green. The pedestal sink in the bathroom was never connected properly and fell over on my four year old son. It also leaked all over the floor. The room reaked of cigarette smoke.
