Nice quiet hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
The idea of "Resort Fees" is appalling.. its nothing more than a back handed way to bait and switch on advertised rates.. the fact that other hotels do it is no excuse..and what do we get for "Resort Fees"??? it certainly wasnt the free coffee which wasnt even good enough to provide decaf or creamer..
Pros: very nice room, wonderful shower. Comfortable bed, and a view of the ocean and waves from the balcony as advertised! Meh: a bit far from town, this restaurant took a bit to get to, they do have a shuttle some days, off season this significantly reduces dining.. That said it's a very pleasant walk into town! The Bad: If you are mixing some work with your vacation, the room didn't really have a table (desk or dining) just end tables and a TV stand. While I ended up pulling the chair to the end table this made it hard to set up a work laptop. And may have made a in room food prep harder to eat comfortably. A TV dinner folding table would have significantly improved the utility of the room in this regard. Or slightly warmer weather then the day I stayed and sit on the balcony. Overall: for my particularly trip I'd have gone somewhere else, however if I was on a trip not expecting to use my laptop I'd happily stay here in the future.

Very nice quiet property right on the beach. About a mile from the downtown. We went during off season so not a lot going on or areas open, everything open was mostly a drive away but to be expected. Hotel was small, but perfect for us! The comfort of everything and cleanliness was the absolute best of the best! Traveled with two little ones and they loved hanging out in the room too.

Clean, large, bright. Across the street from the beach with beach access. The connecting rooms was a huge factor in picking this hotel, along with the free parking. ICONA will definitely be my first pick when going back.
This is our second stay at this facility. It is clean and staffs are helpful. However, when we booked using Orbitz we were given the impression it will be facing ocean or at least will have partial view of ocean. The room we were assigned were at the back of the building had no view of ocean unless you consider a glimpse of the ocean from the very corner of the balcony. It is very diapponting . We feel the information we were provided at the time of reservation is misleading and we were charged an exorbitant amount for that room.
Very clean rooms. Stayed during off season and had a view of the town, it was peaceful and relaxing. Front desk gave me directions to my next destination, they were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

Had schuttle service to town which was excellent.
Definitely not worth the 450 rate. The people were nice, but there is no kitchen or bar. There is no parking available and the valet was always mia. The shampoo, soaps and conditioner are cheap and are not refilled. The side doors to let people into the building were not secure. The WiFi was very spotty. The pool was meant for toddlers. It’s tiny.
Loved our time at Icona! The staff was great! Chet and Johanna took great care of us! I requested late check out and they kindly provided it until 11am. Their check out is 10am. I had a work call and they kindly provided a beautiful conference room for 1 hour. That was a life saver! They provide a beach chair (no umbrella). The hotel is all rooms, no other areas to hang out, but the rooms are beautiful and clean and there’s a nice balcony. A lot of them have a partial ocean view! Would stay there again!
