The lobby was very inviting and open. The dinner was a surprise. Food for dinner and breakfast had a good variety and very tasty. Our room was great. We had a one bedroom suite. I did not like the pillows though. They need to reinvest in new pillows, I got a stiff neck from the flat pillows.

Really nice staff, great location, very clean, and good breakfast. Only recommendation would be to either seal/insulate better around the (older style) air conditioning unit along exterior wall,... a very cold draft along floor coming from the unit.
Great stay at the hotel , very pleased with the staff . The Orbitz site was a pain to navigate but the hotel staff worked it all out.

This hotel was SO relaxing to stay in, sleep in, escape in. Had previously stayed in other cheaper properties in Cape Girardeau, but can't recommend this one highly enough.

My husband and I stayed here for one night, passing through the town. We were tired from driving all day and knew we had another day of driving the next day. We arrived around 9pm. Check in was smooth and the clerk was very friendly. However, I did find it strange that I had to sign a waiver that I would have more than 5 people in my room because it's a college town. I'm in my upper 40s, I think it was obvious that I wasn't a college student looking for a place to party! The room was nice, it was clean and nicely decorated. However, around 2am the noise level from what we thought was from the hallway woke us up. The loud chatter and laughing went on for 30 minutes before my husband finally called the front desk to complain. Within minutes, however, the attendant was knocking at our neighbor's door and asked them to be quiet. So the noise we thought was out in the hall was actually our neighbors, which is why I say they need to insulate their walls.
This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The night snacks and breakfast is an added bonus. We had a very nice stay. I would highly recommend!
