Dolphin key is a great value, everyone was very friendly and helpful. My rooms was very clean and easy to access.

The staff in particular, the check-in staff, are some of the most friendly I've ever encountered in 30 years of traveling to the Gulf. While this is a relatively small resort, it has its advantages terms of being self-contained, easily accessible, With , good food and drinks at outstanding prices! 2 to other restaurants and bars for variety.
I loved that they had kayacs and paddle boards for free. There was a canal that led to the ocean. The room was quiet and clean and the owner of the property was very kind. Very reasonably priced, I will definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what I expected from reading other reviews. Simple room with what you'd need. A pool in the courtyard and a convenient attached dinning and entertainment venue option. Easily walkable to many other food and beverage options. Would definitely stay again.

Check in is 4PM and frobt desk closes at 5PM. We came later and were not able to get anyone at the property. Called next day , nobody was picking up the phone.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean. The Tiki Bar served excellent food and the staff was very pleasant. The pool was wonderful. The location was perfect for me.
It’s basic but the rooms were extremely clean and the front desk lady was helpful and polite.
The motel is struggling after the hurricane damage from last year with all the first floor rooms still not able to be used. The pool and the bar are great and the 2nd floor rooms were on par for a small motel. Would stay again as the location is close to everything in Cape Coral.
A great place much better than I was expecting.
Our room was just outside the Tiki Hut Bar and restaurant.They had a band playing extremely load music til 11 pm.When we booked the room we had no idea that had a band just outside our door. It was a long travel day so it was extremely inconvenient.
Room #130 had clogged drain in bath tub. Couldn’t get water to come thru shower head. Dumb set up. The coffee maker needs to be cleaned with vinigar. Coffee had floaties in it!! Disgusting.
The motel (NOT a resort) is ok, with a pretty convenient location if you have a car and are planning to do things in Ft Myers and Cape Coral, as well as Sanibel and the Everglades. However don't book here if you want peace and quiet on your vacation, because the on site tiki bar has live music and lots of people every night until at least 9 or 10. The biggest issue we had was cleanliness - our room smelled very moldy and there was no way to open the windows. It may just be a south Florida thing, but I hope they find a way to mitigate it.
