Love this place!! Nice hotel - many areas to hang out : Pool, restaurant /lounge, fire pit by the ocean, outdoor deck with comfy seating.Great bayside beach across form hotel with amazing sandbars! Hotel staff were wonderful - really friendly and helpful. (Cleaning staff , not so much - in their own world but still do a great job) Short walk to P-town or grab shuttle - which is very easy and convenient. Hotel breakfast was very good - excellent omlettes with a great variety of ingredients made to order. Beds very comfortable and evening's were quiet and conducive to rest. If you like dogs, this is also a dog-friendly hotel. No problems on that front in terms of noise or mess- all the dog owners were great and very responsible - plus we loved meeting quite a few of them! My ONLY complaint really about the Harbor Hotel is about the shampoo - all the provided toiletries smell wonderful BUT the shampoo does not do the job. Everyone in our party had the same comment - seems watered down (?) In any event, that would not deter me from returning. Next time I'll just pack a bottle of my own shampoo! ; )

The room was fine, with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The bathroom had little counter space for grooming items and no towel racks.

We thought this hotel was right in the thick of town but it was about 5 minutes out. This actually worked out better because there was a very frequent bus that took you in and out of town and this way we didn't have the constant crowds and noise that comes with being in the thick of it. We had the beach across the street and pool on the property...perfect.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the pool area was amazing, the bartender Keith couldn't have been any nicer. Everyone was just so friendly. It was like we were with family the entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Provincetown. It's great for families or in my case, just a friend get away. Although it is beach front, the beach isn't exactly the greatest on the cape.

Booked a weekend stay in late September for our 3rd anniversary - loved pretty much everything about this place! It is so clean, the staff so helpful and pleasant - I can't imagine we'll ever stay anywhere else in Ptown. Kudos to Matt at the front desk (he might be the manager) for the great service and for still assisting my husband and I with late night food and drinks while he was overseeing a lovely wedding on the premises. Sorry if we were a bother, we might have been over served in town! And thanks to Marina at the bar, lovely girl who graciously tolerated our behavior! All in all, a wonderful stay - we will be back!

It was a nice place to sleep.

Checked in after 2 mile walk, not one mile as advertised, to a motel that had wallpaper coming off the walls, rusted metal inside and out, and an odor that air freshener could never take care of. If we wanted to leave we would have lost one night ($100.00) payment. They did move us to a little more up-dated unit, that was cleaner I wouldnt classify it as "deluxe water-view rooms"

Hotel choice was great. Far enough away but not too far. Accommodations were good also. Second floor had nice bay view. Nice place to stay!

The Cape Inn was a nice place to sleep after walking around fabulous P-town and after enjoying the greatest whale watch ever. I recommend a room with a water view. Cape Cod Bay is a wonderful sight to wake up to.

we had nice time the room was great everyone was friendly

This was my first stay and I would definitely reccomend the Cape Inn resort to anyone. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful, the rooms were spotless, it was across from the water so the location was great and just a mile from the center of town so it was quiet and peaceful. The lounge showed the movie "State of Play" with Russel Crowe & Ben Affleck. It was very good and I was amazed it was free, as was the popcorn !!They have high speed connections in the lobby where the continental breakfast is. I really enjoyed myself and am looking forward to the next time I can visit.I am from North Carolina & we have wonderful beaches but Cape Cod is one of those places you just miss and want to go back to. I love P-town with all the shops and wonderful restaurants. One neat thing I did was to go on a whale watch and saw about 20 of them. Some were so close you could almost touch them if you leaned over the boat. One even jumped straight up in the air. One other noteworthy thing that made the trip so special was the 7 day permit I got to drive on the beach. What a thrill being out there with nobody around.....just you and nature....a treat I won't soon forget.Another good thing to know for getting around in Provincetown is for $5, a taxi will take you anywhere in town and they are there very shortly after you call. [...]

This was a good location for base camp. Easy access to local attractions. There is a really nice resturant close by (walking distance).

old, ugly, carpeting and furnishings date from circa 1971, too far from town if you don't have a car.

quiet,good location

The staff was very responsive and courteous. The only downside is that it's a lonnnng walk into town. But, the cabs arrived quickly and the walk wasn't so bad after dinner.

The Cape Inn resort provided good value for money in a nice location on the beach. Outside the main town however the walk is only about 30 minutes and is very nice along the beach. The staff were friendly but the hotel was a little old. Overall I would recommend it.

the cape inn ok losted apair of ear rings my girl friend feels that house keeping took them

The Cape Inn Resort turned out to be nicer than expected. The rooms were plain but clean, the bus to town stops right in front of the hotel, there's plenty of parking, an outdoor pool and the beach is right across the street. Apparently they show movies in the lobby (with free popcorn) but we didn't watch any. The continental breakfast was sufficient (coffee, tea, cocoa, oatmeal, 3 kinds of cereal, 2-3 kinds of juice, bagels, toast and English muffins). The only downside is that it is a bit far from town if you don't have a car or bike. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk from the ferry to the hotel (and we walk pretty fast) although the walk is very scenic. You can take the bus (only $1 per person and runs about every 15-20 minutes) or a cab (about $4 PER person each way).
