Love this place and all it has to offer. My room had wet carpet, door knob to bathroom came off, lots of stains on rugs in hallway. Staff is great and LOVE the Spa. They should have list of masseuses on call to come there if their guy is booked

This was a wonderful place to stay after completing the Pan Mass Challenge! My partner and I were able to enjoy the hot tub and I took a soothing bath in the large bath to melt away the pain. The Inn is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops as well as the beach, and free parking and a bike rack make the stay less stressful. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the room temperature was just right. There are lots of places to lounge in the garden area and a serene atmosphere to relax and rejuvenate. Breakfast in the morning was great—they offer a few egg selections, coffee, tea, juices, cake, and pastries as well as fruit and granola and there are seating options in and outdoors. I had a massage on site and the staff were quite generous allowing us to stay a little longer so we could gather our things to check out afterwords. My only suggestion is a few more racks or hooks in the bathroom so that all the towels and robes have places to dry!

The spa facility was vet nice, but the rooms were underwhelming and in need of upgrades. I stayed in one of the two largest suites on the property and the bathroom tiles were cracked with dirty grout and the stand for amenities was severely rusted. The bedding was nice but not on par with a fine hotel. The breakfast was meager and unappealing. The staff were particularly unprofessional. I attempted to use one of the breakfast tables on one of the mornings of my stay to do some work and hook up my laptop, and I was promptly admonished by a staff member who ordered me to go to the lobby which lacked a table space to do some work. The staff member seemed to be overly concerned with the need to set the table for breakfast service, and did not understand that she was part of the hospitality business. No smiles ... just a lot of exacerbated frowns. A rather poor experience. There are better alternatives available.

I had a lovely one night stay at Carpe Diem. I was seeking a quiet and peaceful oasis within a 2.-2.5 hour drive from my house. Provincetown off-season provided the setting that I was looking for, and Carpe Diem set the tone for my extreme relaxation. Stephen and Eddie were lovely and helped me figure out where to explore with an ankle injury. I will definitely return!

Eddie and Mike were very welcoming and friendly. Made it more of a home experience and not just a place to stay. You

this was our first time in p'town. carpe diem looks so good in pictures, but in person is very tired and worn. reserved george sand room for the extra space and "private" deck. nothing private about the deck, and it is right next to public seating area, which is shaded and has better seating. extra space in room is also not really usable, just decorative; best use was place to set up ironing board. minimal furnishings, so suitcases are on the floor. tiny bathroom ok, but ceiling fan was broken on arrival, (made very loud noise, which they were aware of), and no attempt to fix it. shutters on doors and windows nice, but one window shutter was broken. on a positive note, the snacks for the afternoon wine hour were very nice and breakfast was good. there is free parking. we got a space and never moved our car. it's a very short walk to commercial street and macmillan pier. we would not recommend carpe diem at all. there are too many other choices in p'town.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your experience. We are always working on upgrades on rooms during the off season. Your comments are noted. Our breakfast room only holds a certain amount of people for our Inn. We normally ask guests during this time to use our lobby if they are going to use computers so we can accommodate all our other guests for breakfast. We agree there are many options, so do many of our return guests who come back numerous times.
