Very convenient location Neighborhood is walkable. Number 7 tram is right outside the front gate. Not far from the promenade at the lake. Easy and quick access via the tram to downtown. The room has all the essentials including utensils for eating and a microwave. Restaurants, Migros, and ATM are 5 walking minutes away.

One tram stop from the Enge station and a useful nearby Migros store (with unusual long opening hours), the Fifa museum and three or four bars and eateries around the station's square. Very clean apartments, supplied of a fridge and an equipped kichenette. Basic furniture. Also close to the lake for summer's sun-bathing and swims. A couple of drawbacks: no reception desk in the building (you have to refer to Ascot hotel). We stayed over a w-end and we had no cleaning service. They only make up the apartment on weekdays!

This place really surprised me. A modest place at a modest cost with people who really want t help. Let's face it... a hotel room is a hotel room. It's the people that make it good or bad and this one was wonderful.

Excellent location. This is associated with the nearby Hotel Ascot where you check in/out. The walk is 5 minutes or exactly 1 tram stop. The wifi is excellent and the rooms are small but well appointed. There is an iron and board on each floor. The bathroom is nice and clean and lacks toiletries. The breakfast at the Ascot is very nice. I found the room very warm even for March, but sleeping with the window open was no problem and very quiet.

Stayed 3 nights here when recently working in Zurich. Check in is at the Ascot Hotel (200m away), and you can use the hotel bar & restaurant for breakfast too. When I checked in, the hotel even sent a driver to take me to the apartment and show me around. Lovely apartment block, well situated for Enge train station & tram stop. Small studio apartment with bathroom (bath over shower), kitchenette, desk & table. Room is basic, but comfortable & even had a small balcony. Apartment was clean, bedding was good quality although I would have preferred a softer mattress. Free WiFi available too, so easy to settle down & get some work done. Ideal alternative for someone visiting Zurich who may be looking for a different option to the typical hotel room

Awesome.location for business or pleasure. Right on the tram stop for the 7 tram that will connect you to anywhere. They just need a little modernizing - the mattresses or certainly mine in apartment 14 were passed comfort. Couldn't decide which was worse from the two beds so I alternated. Both had collapsed in the middle The tv set up was poor. Recieves a good range of channels but the set top box was flaky often needing a reboot and the tv dated and connected via scart lead. Very 90's Plus points. Good functional. Good value. Clean. So only minor complaints but as a business user these are the things you need to work. TV and the bed. :)

This was my 3rd time staying at the Seestrasse Apts and once again had a wonderful stay. You check in at the Hotel Ascot where you check-in and they will give you your Key. Jump on the #7 Tram and it will drop you 1 stop later right in front of the Apt. The Apt. is good size with a Kitchen and a very spacious Room and bath. Took advantage of the Kitchen as we cooked a couple of good meals and was able to do a couple loads of Laundry in the facility in the basement. Located in a great neighborhood setting it gives you a nice feel for staying in Zurich apart from the hustle and bustle of a City Center Hotel room. Free Wifi that is spot on and easy to connect. Short walk puts you down on the Lake for an after dinner stroll. If you want a nice, clean, Apt setting while in Zurich, in a great location by Bahnhof Enge, be sure to give the Drei Konige a try.

we spent three nights in a spacious, clean, modern studio apartment in Seestrasse. It had every amenity including excellent coffee/tea maker. It is necessary to check in at the Ascot Hotel beside Enge station, all easily reached on a direct train line (S2) from the airport. After checking in at the hotel you take the tram number 7, one stop, to the apartment which is across the road from the tram stop. We found the apartment to be very secure and reasonably quiet even though it was close to the road/tram. To get to Zurich centre, Paradeplatz, the number 7 tram is directly in front of the apartments. The apartment is cleaned every day, bed made etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and look forward to our next visit.

here is no check in on the premises. I had to walk in the cold and rain, dragging my luggage, to a different hotel to do the check in, and then walk back. WHAT?!? Why didn't I just stay at that other hotel. Unpleasant. I will not be staying here again.

We stayed in the smaller / cheaper room, which was very good: nice sized, clean and fresh. All the furniture seemed to be quite new and stylish (different/newer from some of the photos I have seen). We stayed during warm summer time, but the room was never too hot despite the lack of fan/AC. The outside temperature decreased substantially during nighttime making things even better. However, the ventilation did not feel efficient enough: it seemed to work only in the bathroom when the bathroom light was on so we kept the bathroom light on during nighttime to keep the air changing also in the bedroom. The traffic noise and church bells were a bit disturbing early in the morning when sleeping with the windows opened and shutters closed. If the ventilation was better, I would have given this place easily at least four stars. The location was great for combining city and beach life: a tram stop for tram 7 is just outside the door giving easy access to the city center. The apartment building is in a nice residential area. There is great Enge park close by with free of charge swimming opportunities and also a breakwater structure in Hafen Enge where you can sunbathe and swim (there are couple of metallic steps in the left hand side to help you get in and out of the water). Seebad Enge swimming pier is between these two, with snack bar, dressing rooms and toilets, costing about 7 euro/person. The water in the lake is super clear, and the park, breakwater and swimming pier are very popular among locals. Most swimming spots in the city are private owned piers, especially in the city center, but there is also a similar free-of-charge park in the east side of the lake. Hotel Ascot, where you will get the room keys, served descent prized meals, which I wish we had noticed sooner. All in all, the price was decent and I would probably stay here again in the future.
